RBC Royal Bank - Meeting Place (Cash at ATM Only)

Ita no longer a bank. Expects to do all ourselves online and still charge account maintenance fees for an account that has balance in 5digits. I am switching to TD for sure.

Wanted to open an account because of the iPad deal. Signed up online and received a call from what seemed to be a nice manager. Went over the location and saw all of the tellers around the lobby area just chatting away and drinking the refreshments that were laid out for the customers. When I asked to see the manager I had talked to, one of the tellers proceeded to say that he was busy and was unable to help me and that if I had called like I was supposed to and make an appointment, he would be available for me. My mom who was with me at the time, was a bit ticked off but continued to ask if they could see if he was still busy and they looked at each other rolled their eyes until one of them got up and sulked into the managers office. She came out and said “he’s still in the meeting, like I told you so. Now if you need anything else I can help you with that.” My mom had an account previously with Scotiabank where they opened an account for her without needing the manager, so she told them that and they acted like they couldn’t hear her until one of the tellers said “okay when would you like to see the manager next?” My mom being tired of this said “it’s alright, we will call in” and we walked out. We looked for a scotiabank and I got a debit card there instead.

Friendly staff and they value your time. MEET was fantastic and very pleasant to deal with! Will continue coming to this branch.

The tellers here are in severe need of customer service and sensitivity training. If you must bank with Royal, you'll find much better service in Whitby.

There is this one dude that works there that has a serious attitude problem. I was talking to a teller about an issue I had, this man comes out of no where to tell me well that's a life lesson for you now to never do that again" like seriously who the hell are you?? I going back there tomorrow to cancel my account and would advice ppl if you really wanna open an account at RBC don't do it at this one. They just want your money they don't care about you."

My first time at conlin Rd in January 2018 for banking well plus I have 2nd chance to get to know Safia without getting harassed, karlene did it excellent job branch manager near conlin Rd plus she has to work for neil Joshi as her boss so is sami and Brad acting branch manager in Courtice, anything happened karlene report to Neil. Just reminder I stay plan b weekend with safia at all time.

I don't like writing negative reviews and so I generally just keep it to myself but my experiences at this bank have been the worst that I have had with any institution and the issues had nothing to do with money. One time the female manager (dont remember her name) was incredibly belittling and insulting. She spoke to the teller serving me like I was not even present and in a way that all other customers could hear my personal financial matters. When I discussed this with her she was dismissive and rude. I plan on transferring all my accounts and mortgage to the TD bank adjacent to RBC. I would t go back into the branch. The best thing about this branch is the bank machines which are great. The technology is far better at serving customers than the staff, at least better than one staff member anyway.

Absolutely amazing service at this branch. The RBC advisor that helped me Olha was amazing and I wouldn’t know what to do without her. Thank you again.

Had a wonderful Banking experience. We opened a Non profit business account and the whole process was smooth and fast. Banking Adviser Bibi George provided all the required information and advices. I recommend this branch for banking.
