Fillongley Provincial Park

What a lovely park! Initially we were concerned that a family camping nearby was experiencing prolonged and violent explosive diarrhea. It went on and on - I was ready to call 911 but my husband convinced me to record the noises and send them to a local conservation officer friend of ours. We have been friends for many years and he knows quite a lot about the local fauna. He specializes in birds but also knows the sounds of many other creatures. The friend said, not to worry! That’s not diarrhea, it’s sea lions! They make truly obscene sounds which may not be suitable for young children. Otherwise, a grand experience was had by all at Fillongley.

Did a quick walk around. Smaller primitive sites, not much privacy. It is close to a beach.

Great spot to stop and have a picnic on the water. Would be a very quiet and tranquil place to camp!

Want a super cool place to camp, walk and just explore. Wait till the tide goes out and get some of the most beautiful shells. The camping is incredible. You won't believe the views. Denman island is one the most amazing place in Canada.

Great spot, secluded, small camp ground only 10 spots, right on the beach, totem pole, clean and organized would highly recommend, fyi drinking water is tinged green/yellow but is safe to drink (it's well water)

We had camping spot #10. It was not bad. Close to the water well and bathrooms except you can smell the outhouse in the evenings when the wind changes direction. And there's not a lot of choices for where to put the tent. Spot 1 would've been better for the smell plus you're basically right on the beach.Enjoyed watching the 8pm beavers tho!

I've been coming to this campsite for years and I've always enjoyed myself but in the last few years it's become very run down. The spots are very small as is but now none of the bushes are trimmed back making the spot even more crowded. There's not much space in the site to set anything else up so we were stuck with our broken picnic table.

June 15/2018. A small little camp ground with a caretaker with some fantastic views of the inside channel.The place looked clean and very tidy.Saw a sign,NO FIRES.It’s the season for fires so please be careful.A trail runs along the sandy shore.Have fun and be safe.

It's a nice place however you are so close to your neighbour's that any little noise at night will wake you up. Sites are actually better near the back where there's a bit of bushes to dampen the sound.
