Nanton Lion's Campground

Very beautiful place to camp! Well setup with all needed ammenities. Great for hot spring or summer season. It was a lovely experience to car camp there for two nights. Very friendly and helpful Management. One thing to conisder is there is no Power on sites but the fire pits are huge and all grassy with some beautiful trees all around.

Excellent! Very well maintained. Happy, nice greeting and easy registration. AWESOME CLEAN WASHROOMS AND SHOWERS!! Big spots that can fit two units. Lots of grass and trees. Definitely reccomend and will be back!

I really liked it. Cutest little municipal campground I have been to. No real ammenties to your site but thats perfect for us.Communal Dump site, water and full washrooms with paid showers on site. The mosquito creek band shelter with live music on Wednesday was just an absolute treat. I was blown away by the production value of the sound stage and such. My kids were at their little playground constantly.Was not too busy leading up to Nantons rodeo which was a pleasant surprise.Walking distance to the charming town of Nanton. You kind of miss all the cute little things to do in that Town when you just blow through on the highway (which I have done far too many times).Loved my experience there. We will return.

Amazing place to camp for a ball tourney. Easy in and out. Great facilities. Ice and firewood easily accessible. Felt safe and well maintained. Can't wait for next year.

Nice place for family gatherings where u can put RVs and tents on large lots together, costs are shared, able to reserve camp kitchen for whole weekend, bathrooms and showers very clean w hot water toonie for 5min, staff are friendly, off the highway but nestled down a small hill so traffic noise not bad, other campers were decent, some late nighters but honestly I loved hearing the sound of muffled stories and laughter and campfire crackling given how social separate we've all been this year. There was even a stage and band fundraiser going on Sat night so really enjoyed the music too, as added bonus! Added this one to my favourites!

This place is so amazing. True it doesn't have any real site services, but we have spent the summer here, May through September. It is peaceful and quiet, close to home, and the people who run it are incredible. They have live music on Wednesday evening, for special occasions and holidays as well. It is very well run, always clean, and has become our little paradise. It also draws some great people that are regulars like us. We will be back next summer as well.

We were on a trip with our motorcycles and could not find a hotel room from Airdie to Nanton everything was booked. Called these guys they told us to come down they set us up with a tent and a fire pit to stay warm. It was 10:30 at night. The people who run this campground are fantastic they went above and beyond for us.

This is a great little campground. Some services but right in town. Not far from high River or Okotoks. Stayed here many times. Never unhappy

This is a very nice campground. The camping spots are a nice distance apart, the grass is lush, the facilities are clean and functional. The young lady who checked me in was charming and lovely to talk to.Local things:The Bomber Command Museum is excellent, you cannot really appreciate a Lancaster bomber until you are standing underneath it.Georgies Cafe makes excellent coffee!The Candy Store is also an antiques shop, could spend hours in it.
