Scamming old folks homes are we? Surprise. I have cameras all around my moms house for security. You guys did nothing. In fact rolled your eyes that an elderly lady didn't answer the door immediately. You were asked for a quote to reattach a water well. You can shuv the $3,000. Wanna argue like you do with everyone else negative on here? Be happy to report this further. Stay away from this complex. You have been warned.P.s. nice fake reviews. Lol. Todd was a wonderful person to deal with when he gave UCSS a quote. Very professional and understanding to the foundation repair needs. Shelby, Richie and Ramsey are very hard working and energetic to complete the work on time and leave the site as when they arrived. Very nice clean up job. UCSS is very impressed with the work done. I can not thank Shield Foundation Repair enough for making what has been a stressful situation better than I ever could have hoped for. Home ownership is expensive and what I was facing the last few years literally had me about to list my house $40,000 less because of my basement issues. Thankfully, the financial burden I had been facing is considerably less.A few years ago I noticed a musty smell in my basement so I wound up gutting it down to the concrete.I knew my basement had an efflorescence problem because I could see it around the furnace and hot water tank so when the flooring came out it wasn't a surprise. What was a surprise was the amount of moisture I had around the interior of my basement that had obviously been there a while. After seeing the floor I assumed my weeping tile was not working or I simply didn't have any in the house (built in 1971).Anyway I won't say which companies came out but they are supposidly reputable and well advertised in Edmonton. The first estimator said there was either no weeping tile or it was broken down and after a while gave me an estimate of aprx $15,000. He said nothing of the foot of water that was in the inspection box on my floor behind the washing machine that covered the weeping tile back flow preventer; he didn't check it or offer any other advice than to get new weeping tile.The 2nd estimator that came out DIDN'T EVEN KNOW what the hole in my floor that was filled with water was!!! Are you kidding me??? His quote was..I've never seen that before.." How can you advertise being a basement specialist and NOT KNOW WHAT IT IS?!Last year was horrible; we had so much rain and my basement was wet most of the summer so I decided this was the year to either get it fixed or sell the house minus the cost of the basement renos. A few weeks ago it was 17 degrees for a few days so all the snow melted and within a day my basement looked like the attached pictures; much earlier than last year. I called Shield and Troy came out on April 5th. He was professional

We recently had Shield repair a basement foundation crack (non-structural) and the entire process from quote to finish was fantastic. The estimator was able to answer our questions during quotation, the workers maintained a clean site and were friendly and professional. The office gave us courtesy calls to advise on schedule updates for extreme cold weather delays. Overall very happy with the professionalism and quality of work, would recommend.

Shield came by to do some work on my house and I couldn’t be happier with Kyle and Evan. They went above and beyond to ensure that what we needed done, was taken care of efficiently. These are 2 people who genuinely care about their customers and the work they are doing. I am absolutely impressed with the level of service I received.

I am on the Board of Directors at a condo complex. I highly recommend Shield Foundation. Tammy answers the phone, is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We had foundation work done which we are happy with. Because of the location of the foundation repair, there was damage to a fence. Yesterday, Eric and Ethan were on site, took out a section of fence and put it back together so well, you’d never know it had been damaged. And at no charge! Both Tammy and Eric called to let me know the fence is fixed. Shield will be our go to company in future.
