I have tried just about every paint on the market and I think that Cottage Paint is the best furniture paint ever! Because it's a clay based chalk paint, it's one of few where you can distress the paint once it's dry by wiping with a damp cloth. The results are so natural as it smooths out the brush lines and leaves it feeling and looking so naturally smooth and worn. It's so easy plus no mess from sanding - LOVE that part!!! Also the varnishes they sell are top quality, highly durable, easy to apply, available in 4 sheens and look fabulous. I will never use bees wax as 'protection' again! The paints are available in 8oz to a gallon and in 58 colours that are also mixable with each other. To top it off there is a huge selection of creative products that make your artistic choices endless. It's a great line for beginners as well as professionals! That's why Cottage Paint gets 5 stars from me! LOVE IT!!!

We use Clean & Prep to remove all the greasy build up and grime on old pieces. We love the exceptionally smooth and durable finish of Serenity Silk mineral paint. And one of our favourite finishing touches is Easy Glaze, which we can customize to any colour. We highly recommend trying Cottage Paint on your next project!

I've struggled to find a furniture paint that has great coverage and is super easy to apply, but Cottage Paint has both of those things! I cannot recommend Cottage Paint enough and I've told all my friends and family about it!
