New Mee Fung Restaurant
Meatballs here is my favourite, been going here for years.Edit review. Meatballs here are now trash and extremely cheap on meat.Go across the street to Huong Bistro. Much better!

New Mee Fung Restaurant
I tried this restaurant and found the beef, chicken, and rice meal to be almost a OK. Yes I ate it all, short lunch and no choice to return. Portion size was OK but not overly tasty. Beef was dry and had little taste. Chicken about the same. I ended up pouring the runny sauce over everything to give it flavor. Spring rolls were not great at all. Small and without taste. I asked for plum sausage and was told it was in the bag. It was very runny. All for $23.00. It was worth $12.00 taxes in. Won't be returning.

I’ve tried the tasty rice and noodle dishes to go. A little expensive, but you get a nice sized portion! Service is robotic and emotionless, but I don’t care, I go for the food.

Been coming here for 20 years. Food is always fresh and good and sometimes when it isn’t they replace it. However after reading new reviews I had to write this review! Yes the lady working is not friendly. But she gets the job done and we even call her smiler and have made a game of saying thank you to her for everything always hoping she will say you’re welcome back. Alas she never does. She’s a legend.

This is an awesome place to try Vietnamese/ Thai dishes, I do love their satay soup, it is a tick peanut based soup, very spicy. The dishes have increased in price, like everywhere else but the side of the dishes are very small now, you are supposed to get some soy sprouts, albahaca leaves, cucumber and tomato but they are not giving you the sprouts, you have to ask for them in order to get them, there used to be a very happy and friendly staff but lately there is couple of unhappy waitress...just saying

This cafeteria style restaurant is low key and seats about 100+. Kids can make noise and run around. There are hundreds of options for Vietnamese style food. And if you don't see exactly what you want they will make whatever you ask for. We frequent this place weekly. Once we brought our vegan nieces and they were able to customize the Roll-Up with Rice Paper to replace meats($15) with tofu. All of the options in this category(#400-422) are fantastic. The Pho soups($7-$10) are also great. My kids love the shakes($4), they make them with coconut milk and fruit so they are more like a creamy slushy.

Tried it out for the 1st time on UberEats, paid the extra $15 to get it delivered but didn’t feel like it was worth it.Ordered the Spicy Sate Rice Noodle “Soup” and every bite tasted like a mouthful of sate sauce with noodles, definitely not soupy at all.For a Vietnamese restaurant, I feel they shouldn’t add a $1 charge to have the bean sprouts & lime as a side, these are usually things that come with the Vietnamese noodle dishes…The Vietnamese spring rolls were also not the typical airy fluffy ones like I expected either.Maybe my expectations are high, but I’m not too sure if I’ll have the courage to try it again.

Always great #127!!! Or #334....except honestly tonight (Spring 2023) the 127 broth was saltier than usual, and the vermicelli was a different noodle than usual and texture was over cooked. Our server was rather abrupt and impatient several times. We will keep coming back because we have been coming since 1998; maybe this was an off night....BUT the tea was the BEST tea I have had there ever. A darker rose colour than the usual pale shade.
