Rated Ultra Lounge

Rated Ultra Lounge has by far been a great addition to the regular night clubs my friends and I go to. The owners and their staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Just a couple weeks ago, I spent my birthday here, had a table reservation and bottle service. One of the notable experience I had when it comes to their customer service was the attentiveness of our designated server that night. She was keen enough to observe that my glass was almost empty while I was dancing on the dance floor. She approached me and offered to make me a drink, which I found very sweet and thoughtful. Sometimes in other clubs, you always have to look for your server because they’re MIA. So when it comes to level of service, definitely a 5 star.I also admire how this night club tries to cater to different types of customers with varying tastes of music genres. Every now and then, they would also bring in different types of DJs who are new to the scene to give them some exposure. So my advice to first time visitors, don’t be upset or disappointed if you come and see yourself not vibing with the music because it isn’t your taste, it’s okay. It’s not the club’s fault. You just happened to have come at a wrong night.Overall, the birth of Rated Ultra Lounge has made the partying scene in Calgary more competitive. Back then, we only had 2-3 favorites. This one has now been added to the list. One area of improvement that I think (which I’m not sure whether it’s within the control of management or the lessor of the venue) is the ventilation. It can get mildly hot inside after a few minutes of dancing. But good thing they have a very wide and open parking space just outside the entrance. It’s easy and quick to grab some fresh air and cool up a bit before going back to the dance floor.

Excellent experience! Found out they're open Sunday's and locally owned which is different for a bar/club scene. Super friendly people throughout. Refreshing vs the attitude you get at some places.

What an awesome club! Love that we have this in Calgary. Spent New Years Eve there and it was a great party! Danced all night (the sound system is top quality and the DJ's were awesome) and our waitress was fast with the drinks which were reasonably priced! As a woman I felt very safe with the security on staff and it's very well lit outside. Also love that if there is a line up, you get to wait inside!! Where is warm! 10/10 recommended this venue for your next night out!

I’ve been here twice now, and enjoyed both times! They have a Void sound system, and they’ve tuned it really well, so the music is not too loud. The entrance can be a bit tricky to find if you’ve never been there. (It’s closer to the Reconciliation Bridge) Their cocktails are really tasty, and there’s lots of booths for sitting, but also lots of space for dancing. The only thing they REALLY NEED is some FANS, cuz it gets HOT in there when there’s lots of people dancing!

Went to Rated Ultra Lounge for New Years. We had a blast! This place has an amazing sound system and the DJ's that played were able to take full advantage of it! The drinks were great and they put on an amazing audio visual display. Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to get out and enjoy some amazing drinks and dance.

A newer house/trance nightclub located just off Riverfront Ave - just opened in January 2023, I was told. Entrance and parking is off Riverfront Ave, however take note, the lot is NOT paved. It's a cozy nightclub, fairly small, with 6 booths/tables; 3 right off the dance floor, and appears to be reserved for bottle service exclusively, and 3 off the bar, which not surprisingly, weren't being used at all as you can't see the dance floor properly, and you can't see the screens/DJ at all. So unless your in the bottle" group

I'm really loving this bar! My husband and I went there for an event that was hosted by Dojo Entertainment, and loved the atmosphere they've created. Kind of like being underwater in an aquarium, but not in a tacky overdone way. The bathrooms are all individual locking rooms with toilet sink and mirror! I rather enjoyed that aspect. Also... serving up a tanqueray and tonic for a reasonable $8 price point. Skilled Bartenders. Gorgeous turntables and a pretty decent sound system had me dancing all night long!Loved having many places to sit as well!! Made for a much nicer experience when my legs eventually got tired from all that dancing.

Best sounding and visuals nightclub in town. The owners are super cool, and the vibes are always on point. If you wanna come down and get dancey, then this is the place to visit. Highly recommend.

Upon my first visit, I wanted to try something new and was surprised by the $20 cover but was already devoted to checking out this new venue.When I entered I was confused on the cost of the cover due to the lack of people and the lack of promotion of the DJ or anything to do with the venue even before entering the venue.Ultimately felt unsafe and uncomfortable the whole time.Left after 20 minutes.
