Grassy Lake Municipal Campground

We came in on a Monday of a long weekend and lots of local" RVs left around 3pm leaving the place wide open for others. Max 30 amp service. Some sites just had a regular 110 outlet. Looked like nice tenting area. I didn't check the washroom. The sites are not that level but it is a nice quiet underused campground. Pay exact cash in a provided envelope after you choose your site and drop it in the lock box

Stopped in as rest stop. Only shaded Picknick tables in tree camp sites and out house for restrooms. In the middle of nowhere. Pretty quite place to stop.

We loved it. Fill station and dump station are close and easily accessible. Rates were decent. Very quiet other than being so close to the highway. Will definitely be back next year.

Not green grass here ,its dry and dusty and flys are so bad and they have these little black bugs that are everywhere. Bathrooms were not cleaned as of yet, 6pm on the Monday after the weekend. I guess if u stay during the week, you dont get clean bathrooms.

Clean and shady. Not busy. Bring toilet paper.

Pure Steven King. Children of the Corn. Flat out the creepiest experience I have ever had. I left before dusk, was worried about waking up the next morning.

BE CAREFUL !!!! Glass everywhere. Not just recent . U can tell it's been there for a while. Alot of the same glass too. White clear broken beer bottle glass. In the play ground, in the sand, next to the water tap, in the camp sites. You name it. Pulled out a big piece that looks like it's been there forever. I'd say who ever takes care of this site needs a different job. On to the locals. The kids in the town come to play in the play ground and seem to be rude to the visitors.They would constantly throw sand at my kids and call them names. I watched the other kids who were camping have the same experience. I spoke with the other parents and they also shared the same experiences that we were having.. This place has potential and use to be a nice experience. Unfortunately things change :(

Beautiful campground love to spend time their with friends and family

Excellent campground with top notch bathrooms and a reasonable rate for tenting (10$). The only negative thing was that someone, who I am guessing was the host, drove up in a white vehicle and accused us of trying to camp there for free right off the bat. We had been there roughly 10 minutes and were setting up before the rain started (which it did about 20 minutes later). I had already put 10$ in a registration envelope and had it on the table. I showed the host the envelope when she had said Are you tenting? You know it's not free" in a unfriendly manner. She was nice after that and after we told her we were cycling across Canada. However
