This place is a hidden gem. The ambiance is so nice and the food was absolutely amazing. The price was decent and the service was fast and friendly. I cant wait to travel up north and have dinner here again. You definitely gotta try it!

Warning. Portions are big, but the food is too good to leave behind. So, if you are not able to take leftovers home, you might want to share a menu item.Music was louder than we like.

I really enjoyed my experience at The Palace! I had the chicken fajitas, which were delicious. I also enjoyed a virgin mango margarita (I'm currently pregnant, it was a tasty treat). Our server was absolutely wonderful too! I can't wait to go back to try something else off the menu.

I think the overall ambience and history in this restaurant is absolutely amazing.Upon walking in, it makes you pay attention to the authenticity of the building, the beautiful and cherished woodworking.We enjoyed our food, our waiter-I think his name was Caleb-had a quick smile, was very knowledgeable about the menu, readily offered recommendations and was an all around great guy!I did think the menu could have had more offerings, but what they had on the menu available to order was done very well.

Probably one of the worst meals I’ve had in a while. Me and my husband both had burgers….well, he ate mine not to waste. Flavourless, sad burgers. Our queso was very thick, not warm at all. Not at all the same as before Covid. Even the salsa and chips that came with the burger had little to no taste and the chips were close to being bad. I’ve been here many time and can honestly say this visit was a turn off.

DON'T ORDER THE STEAK! Drinks good, quesadilla was fine. The $22 Friday night ribeye is the toughest piece of meat I've ever tried to eat. The waiter checked back with more napkins and asked if everything was okay. I told him the steak was tough but I'd work on it. Without a word he spun on his heal and the next time I saw him he brought the check.Truly a terrible piece of meat. When I'd filled all the extra napkins with gristle I couldn't swallow, my jaw was too tired to go on.

This was an AMAZING old building. Surprisingly enough though, that was still behind the service and the food.We arrived with a party of 8 which was no problem. Often times in a large numbers the food and service does slack some. This was not the case. Bryan, our waiter did a fantastic job of navigating the kids, drinks, personalities, and dishes. The portage taco's were the best meal I have had in a long time! We will definitely be back. They receive 5 stars for for everything, atmosphere, food, and service! Highly recommend!!!!
