Best visiting place for weekends in summer... no groceries are available properly that's the backlash but the island is so peaceful and beautiful.

I never thought I’d ever be writing a review about a ferry ride but I gotta say - the service and staff were actually very pleasant!It was my first trip on the ferry and my first trip to Deer Island. Spectacular views too!

It was a wonderful ride. We were advised to stay inside the car. Ferry ride was around 25 minutes and was beautiful to see outside.

It was a nice ride on the ferry back and forth Deer Island. Very beautiful place to visit during summer and just goergeous during fall when colors are changing.

Great ride across to the island and it leaves every half hour then every hour throughout the night I believe. The workers are very friendly. The only thing to complain about is being stuck in the line with no view. Thankfully covid is over so you are now free to walk about to take beautiful photos of the small island you can see on the ride.

Deer Island Ferry
We recently traveled from Sackville NB to Deer Island and crossed over on the ferry to Campobello Island. Very first time and very interesting. Loved Deer Island and the sights. The ferry ride was too fast but enjoyable. Too bad we crossed in the morning as it was a little too foggy for pictures and all the great sights. We will be back and plan a crossing later in the day.
