The Metro supermarket located at Cloverdale Mall near Highway 427 and Dundas is a well-organized and clean store. There are banners throughout the store to depict each department, making it easy to navigate and find what is needed. One of the highlights of the store is the Starbucks located inside, providing a quick coffee to go for customers on the go. Although the line for Starbucks can be long, it is convenient to have it inside the store; otherwise, you can go to Tim Horton's inside Cloverdale which is pretty busy. The store has a separate entrance outside or connected to the mall. The meat section is clearly labelled and displays fresh, high-quality cuts of meat. The self-checkout lanes are also convenient, providing a quick and easy checkout process for those in a hurry. Also, there's a ready-to-eat section near the entrance for quick food to grab for lunch or even the Fresh2Go section to create your combo meals of 1 entree and 2 sides.

Hello ontario! This was one of the locations where I was trying to be positive despite the fact that they harass customers their hours are reduced & the female staff are out of control.I came to the front tonight and I was trying to decide because I was roasting and had a wiggling cart and ever since shopping here it has been the worst experience.I used to go to the location at Central Parkway and Bluer which is amazing and was the 24-hour location so I didn't have to feel rushed and screamed at by Cynthia who is the gray haired woman who constantly ruins most shopping experiences for people here because she is close to retirement and has a bad attitude. The greater Atlantic and Pacific Corporation is amazing except when you get older people who feel that they're close to retirement and have a bad attitude.I've been trying to be positive because I'm supposed to work with police and I'm a community worker but the area around here is disgusting because most of the staff are really lucky to have a job and this is why Toronto is getting worse. It's mainly people that don't deserve their jobs like this staff and I feel bad for Chris and the management because there are many young people here who are being demotivated by the older generation of dominion Metro because this is why the growing problem within the industry was that younger staff don't want to work here when older are demeaning them and are not living up to the reputation that the greater Atlantic and Pacific Corporation continues to have as a successful and Professional Organization.

So I saw another racism comment at this location and I'm relieved I wasn't the only one thinking/feeling the same thing. I was minding my own business picking out some honeycrisp apples among other patrons and an older fella who was arranging fruits looked at me alone out of everyone standing there and said can you not press on the apple or noone will buy the apple. I was simply checking out the apples to see bruises and out of everyone else standing there, being the only visible minority of the bunch, he had to say it to me. Even if it was not racially motivated, it's not something you would say to a customer and for something as simple as checking out the apple for bruises. There's plenty of decent Metro out there, this location is just not a good one. It may seem unfair to judge an entire location based on this interaction but it wasn't the first time I had a questionable interaction here. The one additional star given is for the older folks that they do employ as cashiers which I do encourage.

Customer service at the self checkouts is terrible. The sheer incompetence of the staff that are only good at watching their waistlines increase while their “supervisor” is usually outside breathing in cancer. An okay grocery store let down by its customer service.

The Steak frites was fantastic. The sear on the Steak was perfect and the fries were a great accompaniment. I didn't have desert because I was full, but what I saw looked yummy.

The cake was nice and fresh. Good price and selection at the bakery. I love the fact that they offered a waffle instead of the conventional white cookie that you usually get for cakes. The only thing was that the customer service felt very dead…
