I always get great service from the girls at Trade Secrets! I go to them for eyebrow threading and upper lip wax. They're always friendly and prices are reasonable. Today I saw Jenny, she was really nice and her service was quick. Painless too. She even gave a massage when she applied the aloe to my skin.

Bad experience. Went to return a sealed and unopened curling iron that was a Christmas present for my wife. Apparently they don’t refund for appliances(curling irons). Really? That’s not cool but okay now what? They said either exchange for something else or you can get a gift card. I said a gift card since I don’t know what else my wife might want. The girl said okay, but we don’t have any gift cards. Okay, what? You are a chain store that doesn’t have gift cards? The manager has to order them from head office. We should have more in next Tuesday. Come back then. Okay fine, I come back on the following Wednesday. The girl says sorry the manager didn’t order the gift certificates. We will call you to let you know when they are in. Great, I’ve wasted my time coming in 2 times now. Not impressed. Finally after a few more weeks I get a call. They are in. So I go in for a 3rd time. But this time I notice one of my kids has knocked the bag with the curling iron on the floor in the car and the box is a bit wet from snow getting in the bag and melting. Not so great. So I bring it in and tell the girl what must have happened. She calls her manager and sends a picture. The manager says we can’t except that. Great, because they didn’t have simple gift card the 2 times before I went in now I have to keep this thing because the box was slightly wet? (Box pictured below after wiping it off). They need to get there act together at this location. Just a very disappointing experience and waste of time.

My service at this place was awful. There was a mixup over whether they had a product in stock. I called previously to confirm and they told me which product to use and they have it. I made the bus trip (I don’t own a car) but they were sold out. This may have been partially my fault because I did not reserve the item. But rather than be apologetic, the person tried to sell me on an incorrect product. And then just nonchalantly told me to drive to the other store that was 20 minutes away. I was shocked how there was no acknowledgement of inconvenience and such indifference to telling me to make an additional trip. I will never buy from there again. I now buy the shampoo online. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the employees name but hope others do not have such experiences.

I was recommended to come by a friend who got her eyebrows done for the very first time here. They did an amazing job on her so I wanted to give them a try. The wonderful lady did a great job on my eyebrows and was so nice to talk to as well. Another thanks to her for the bubble tea recommendation! I am totally in love with my eyebrows and the drink!

Definitely will never go back. They are super unprofessional. They will gossip right in front of customers and they treat their employees like trash! They will do favours for employees to help make it easier and seem so supportive and then Later down the road turn it against you and use it against you in their favour to punish you or even fire you!. This place has gone downhill bad P.S in response I actually have gotten my eye brows waxed there last year so the fact you are trying to say I haven’t been there is a total lie. Smarten up. Definitely taking my business wake where like I have been.

I have never gotten my eyebrows done professionally before and was a little skeptical until my friends recommended me this place as well to ask specifically for Jenny. She did a fantastic job where she was quick and direct to ensure I did not feel any pain during the threading. If you are looking for someone to do your eyebrows go here and ask for Jenny. 10/10 service and the prices are fair.

Amazing customer service. My favourite place to buy shampoo and conditioner and hair masks. They are a little expensive, compared to a drug store. But the value and Quantity are better and last longer.And Knowledge Staff.
