First off, my steak was overcooked. Now that I got that out of the way, I can compliment the rest. The food was delicious all around, and the staff are very friendly. Not a lot of beer selection, especially draft, but it is a small place. I will try it again

Before going to Fort McMurray, I stop Eldorado Restaurant for taking my lunch.They didn't open since end of March. I miss hamburger from this restaurant. I really missed. But today, I tried new food. After they reopen, they bring new food for their customers. I asked best food to server. She recommended short rib and Fried Rice. Because I loved rice. I really satisfied these food. I will stop again before going Fort McMurray. Server was so friendly and kind.

Haven't been here for breakfast in a long time, but they really cut their dinner menu way back from what it used to be. Now it's mostly burgers and sandwiches. Or one of two pasta dishes. Had the special this time, baby back ribs. They are still good, but you only get 3 ribs, pile of fries, Caesar salad, and soup. (Didn't want the soup so can't say if it was good. Tuscan vegetable, I think)

April 13,23. Thought I'd try a burger as I planned stopping to gas up at Peteo Canada. Before filling up, I ordered an Eldorado Classic to go.Was really impressed with the large size patty! 3X of a fast food place. The bacon and tomatoes in it also tasted great as well!Will stop in now whenever driving through :)

Tried a breakfast meal and was very disappointed. The warmest food on my plate was my toast. The eggs, overeasy, tasted like old grease. The bacon had a flavour that made me spit it out. When I tried to tell me waitress about the food, I was threatened to pay for the food. I do not recommend this restaurant. in my opinion, DO NOT EAT HERE!

The food is better than you might expect for a rest stop restaurant in a small town. I usually get the spaghetti or the clubhouse and fries/gravy, which are all pretty good. I really like the spaghetti personally and have tried a few other items that were pretry good.We like this place enough to actually plan to stop for lunch here when passing through (which is saying something for us).Havent had any problems with service thus far.

The place is older, it's basically a truck stop diner.the prices are good enough, my burger and fries we good enough, and my server was nice and friendly. Absolutely nothing wrong with this this place for a stop through bite to eat. They also have a family section so kids are welcome .

We are local people that go into the el dorado quite regular. Over the last year the service and quality of food has taken a nose dive. We were in there last night January 2. This is there so called wing Wednesday and it is usually busy. We went in at 5:00 pm with a group of 14, there was 1 server looking after the bar and the restaurant. The service was slow at best but the server( Sophie) was doing a pretty good job considering the amount of people. After we all got our drink orders (30 minutes), Sophie gave us a piece of paper to pass around and write down our order. About half our later she came back and said they didn't have enough wings to fill our order. They were short 2 orders so a couple people had something else. Another 40 minutes passed and our orders started to arrive, well one look and we knew we had never seen such bad wings anywhere else before. The taste test confirmed they were dried out and cooked so much they were hard to eat. I think that will be our last trip in there. Our total bill without tip was over 200.00.
