The platform is extremely basic and therefore makes it very easy to figure out where you're going. Some more outdoor seating for people waiting would have been appreciated.The best part is that you can always arrive late to the station because every Via train that stops here is always late. :)

Just a little, small train station. Nothing fancy, but there's paid parking available for VIA passengers, and a lower parking lot (accessible only from Victoria Street) that's free if you're picking people up.The tannoy announcements are clear and understandable, but they could use some sort of board listing arrivals and departures. Perhaps there is one, but I didn't see any sign of it, nor did a couple of other people also looking for that information.

Took the 84 train today and had to log in to say the staff on Car 5 was great! Wilda was welcoming and friendly, and helped make sure everyone was boarding the right car in a kind, efficient manner. The onboard ticket agent was nice and friendly as well. Such a relief when you step on board and know you're traveling with great VIA employees!

We drove down from Mount Forest to pay for tickets to Nova Scotia using 2 different credit cards. (You can't do this by phone or online) The ticket booth was not open at stated times and when the agent eventually appeared, she said her system was down completely and she couldn't help us. Other people came asking questions but there was no one there at those times. Wasted trip.

Even though it's on the same track, the go train stops 50 meters ahead of the via rail stop. You will miss the go trains if you keep waiting in the viarail station's waiting room. The main entrance to the viarail waiting room is not open during the early hours. You need to enter it via the platform.

Very old station. I've visited many stations in Africa,they are more clean and modern than this one. The staff or at least some of them are not friendly. I don't forget they refused to let my use the washroom while allowing others!!! Is that what we call RACIAL PROFILING!!!
