Worst experience of placing IUD with Dr. Sherry as I did follow up with her after three days on my own and asked her to examine once as I wasn't feeling good at all after IUD but she ignored that led me to deal with being pregnant after a month with much more complications. Would never suggest anyone as they dont really care about your health and would not try to investigate.

I've been a patient at this clinic for 8 years and have had very good care from every physician that I've seen here. I've also had mostly good experience with the nursing staff and admin staff. They don't have walk-in service but they do have an on-call physician available everyday for urgent issues as well as nursing staff who you can see for minor but urgent needs. My most recent experience was excellent. The nurse, Shaylee, helped my 5-year-old daughter who was very afraid of needles, to have a good experience while getting her routine immunizations. I am grateful to be a patient at this clinic. Keep up the good work!

I’ve been coming to this clinic since I started at Dalhousie in 2014. I have a medical history, so I’ve been here many times. While my experiences with the doctors have almost always been fine (hence the 2 stars I gave), I have only once or twice walked away not frustrated with the front desk staff. They are almost invariably unprofessional, incompetent, and even rude. One day, i was calling for urgent care, in an extreme amount of pain, and was hung up on repeatedly by the same receptionist. I spent 45 minutes calling, waiting on hold, and being hung up 3 times after stating my issue. It was only after I asked for the receptionists’ name that she answered my questions. Another time, I was offered a same day appointment at 10:20am. I told the receptionist that I would need to leave the office before 11 as I had another appointment on campus then. She said that was fine, but then the doctor was running late the same receptionist told me I wouldn’t be called in until after 11, and I would be charged for the appointment if I did not wait at the office until 11 (which would make me late for my other appointment). She did not tell me this over the phone. You really have to learn by experience at this clinic, because unlike health professionals, the front desk staff are not there to help you.

I've been going to the Dal Medical Clinic for 30 years and I've always had great service from the time I call for an appointment, check in with staff, meet with my Doctor and nurse and have follow ups. I was surprised to read such negative reviews when I've never experienced anything of the sort . They strive to serve their community with the best possible services and I've experienced nothing less.

Terrible. Doctor rushed me, interrupted me, cut me off, didnt listen to me. She kept insisting my diagnosis was something basic like Covid or flu despite negative tests. Ignored other doctors diagnosis of Strep despite the photos i had to finally convince her. Checked my chest despite telling her there were no symptoms of lung dysfunction. Didnt even palpate my neck despite telling her it was still a strong symptom. Needless to say, it very much looked like she wanted to stamp something generic on me to get me out of her hair quickly. She ignored actual signs and symptoms, and looking in the wrong places for others. I had to beg for a doctors note despite stating the obvious my grades are under threat during exam season with a week off. Despicable way to treat people, this isnt a conveyor belt.

My family doctor (and for my wife and new baby) has been JUST the doctor I've needed in Dr. Prokai!! She understands me as a medical resident (and my irrational fears and thoughts), my wife as a nurse, and how we can irrationally worry about our first child. Very happy To be at this clinic, and will continue until my doc retires!Sure we may have to wait awhile now and then (because she's thorough with other patients too), but she cares so much and fits our personalities so well, I don't know if we could have a better doctor :)I have had no problems with the reception staff over my 6 visits. They've gotten my appointments right when booking over the phone and have been courteous.I only give it 4 stars because I didn't have a great experience when I was a walk-in patient once, but any doctors can be hit or miss day to day, especially when doing walk-ins.

This clinic is absolutely amazing. The staff, Omar & Sharon are always excellent and helpful! They are compassionate and caring and absolutely love speaking with them. The Doctors work together with the nurses and the collaboration is supportive and amazing. The clinic is clean and I’ve been going there for 15 years. I am always accommodated and made to feel welcome. Thank you so much!

I'm surprised by the abundance of one star reviews. This is the best medical clinic I have encountered in my life. In addition to my family doctor, I've seen several physicians here and have been (nearly) uniformly impressed with the care I've received. Some physicians tend to lag behind scheduled appointment times, but largely I find this is less extreme than in other clinics, and some of the doctors are astonishingly punctual yet don't make me feel rushed out the door.

Worst experience ever.I had an appointment booked for over a week. I called earlier today to confirm the time and they told me the doctor is only working remotely that day and that my appointment will only be possible for in person. They told me there is no way I can see the doctor before May 4th, when I will already be home. They said that I will have to restart the entire process of going to get blood work done after I had started this process weeks ago just so they can tell me the results. Ridiculous.

Terrible experiences with reception and they take too long to complete tasks. I had to send in a form to get an ADHD prescription, which was done about 20 days prior to writing this. Dr Mikhail had told me that once they receive the letter he would call me within days and be able to give the prescription over the phone (the prescription required an in person appointment, but we had done that prior to to the form being sent). I then received a phone call from his office today (three weeks after the form was sent) saying I would need an in person appointment to get the prescription. I told them I was out of province so that wouldn't be possible and that i was told it could be done over the phone. The receptionist said they would call back. They called back 4.5 hours later saying that they wouldn't help me and that I need to seek medical care in the province I'm in. So now I can't get my prescription because the doctor took three weeks to call me back and lied about giving the prescription over the phone. I also called about the status of this process and reception sent me to the document archive office before I could ask any questions and without giving me any information about where I was being sent. I left a message with the archive office and no one got back to me. Reception has always been rude, unfriendly and unhelpful here, but the doctors have been okay, so I've put up with it. This experience was extremely disappointing.
