Driving through the area in February, stopped in for a sandwich. Food was great, service was friendly. Highly recommended for a freshly made takeout sandwich! Right on the water with nice views.

We had the fish and chips one with fries and the other with coleslaw.Coleslaw was delicious and fries were crisp and done perfectly.Fish was a decent portion and also cooked perfectly. Tartar sauce complimented the fish.Out of all the ‘touristy’ food options in town we felt like we got good value for a decent meal.

Happen to be in Baddeck last Saturday and discovered this amazing take out. I highly recommend others to visit this place for great food, friendly staff and amazing service. Worth every penny!!

Terrible experience. Fish was just ok. Pasta salad was awful, asked for it to be replaced with fries. 2 of 4 meals weren't even placed with the kitchen at same time, so super spread out, plus getting fries was spread out. It all took forever and wasn't very busy. Then none of usual table service done, no salt and pepper, ketchup, cutlery, napkins, had to ask for everything or get up and do ourselves. Had to ask for water refills too. The picnic tables were rough, clearly can't be cleaned right, feels like a very cheap atmosphere, but food not cheap (felt more like a roadside stand but with higher end prices). The tables are rough wood, it pricked my expensive leggings, very unhappy about that, would have cut if wearing shorts. The wait staff made themselves scarce it felt like. I realize staff was new, but to make up for that you need some trained staff in the mix and discounts offered. The supervisor acted like replacing our pasta with fries made up for everything, um, no that was the most minor issue in the mix. When I questioned it with the hostess the supervisor wouldn't even come out to address it. She had been the one to at least make a few things like the 2 missing meals finally happen, and she appologized for new staff, but to pay full price for SO many things being wrong was not ok. We are in baddeck a lot... if they had made more effort to make it right we would have happily tried again sometime. But aside from ok fish nothing went right including how it was dealt with. Extremely disappointed. Plus there was no parking, we parked a long way away.

Just had the most amazing lunch here. The fish and fries was an enormous piece of fish deep-fried (pan fried was also an option) with a huge pile of excellent fries. The tartar sauce was very good. We ordered and sat outside and our food was brought to us (on china) very quickly. My husband and I both loved the batter on the fish, which was a lot like a tempura batter. It was crispy and the fish was very fresh and perfectly cooked. I’m sorry we don’t live closer, but I highly recommend this spot to anyone staying (or passing through) Baddeck. Everyone was very friendly. Great spot!

Found this eatery by chance while staying in Baddeck. The fish and chips were the best we've had and the service and personality of the staff really made you feel welcome.

Delicious seafood. Very tasty scallops!Location for dining could Use some improvement but that may come with time.We took it to go as our hotel was nearby.
