I’ve contacted Amanda Older re: this issue and it has fallen on deaf ears. Also the owner Brad. A house listed 575 Mary st. With a price of 199,000 and the listing stated”hurry to view before it’s gone” put in an offer that day. No conditions and full price and closing negotiable. Thought for certain I had it, and there we no other offers at the time. Next thing I know is the carpet is ripped from under me and all of a sudden NOW it’s “hold all offers till Saturday “ Really poor handling. It was never stipulated till after my offer was sent!! So upset and frustrated, this right here is what gives realty a bad name, and gives way to other avenues such as purple brick, etc. Not a very transparent transaction to say the least. I’ve dealt with holding offers before, but it’s always above board and up front, never thrown in at last minute and ALWAYS on realtor comment to other realtors... none of that was done here.
