Moores Clothing for Men

Had an amazing experience at this location today. And want to give a big thank you to Trish one of the three staff who where there when I walked into the store with the three people who I support from a group home who are looking for formal clothing for there big party coming up. These staffed stepped up for the big challenge and help get all three of these men I support amazing looking outfits that look Dapper and bonus even on a budget also. Thank you so much for this opportunity. The guys I support will talk about this outfits they got for years.

Edit for my second visit:We ran into issues with the groomsmen suits and the fit of my husband's custom suit. We picked out suits for the groomsmen that after months, never arrived or only half the suit came in. We were then told that the suits would not be available as there was a supply issue, nobody told us this until we went in to ask and figure out what was going on. The bowtie we picked for the groomsmen, they were told this colour didn't exist at all in the Moore's catalogue when they went to order at other stores. We were also told the groomsmen would have an altered payment plan and it would be written into the group account, other stores did not acknowledge this at all. Communication between stores definitely needs to improve. My husband's custom suit was much too big for him and they wouldn't take our word for it, we had to go back twice for the tailor to do any alterations. If I'm paying for something custom, it better fit! The manager was also extremely rude over the phone to my husband. Leaving two stars as our first visit was good or it'd be one star. Will not be returning to any Moore's stores.First visit: My fiance and I came in to get his wedding suit and groomsmen suits ordered and we had such a great experience here! Heidi was so lovely, helpful, and knowledgeable. Will definitely recommend this store to others.

Moores is the place you go to get disappointed regardless of location. Seemingly every interaction is met with a lack of knowledge, professionalism and organization. I went in today to rent suits for my wedding party and to purchase. We were not acknowledged for 15 minutes. We were told pricing for my suit that was incorrect and discovered when we got to the cash. Good customer service is winning a clients business which in this case was about $2500. Moores does a great job trying to lose business. At time of writing this I held off on purchasing my personal wedding suit and strongly contemplating cancelling my rentals for my wedding party. This is the 3rd poor experience since 2020 with Moores.UPDATED: The management of this location made up for this experience and the experience I have received in other stores. They owned it on the behalf of other locations which says a lot. This speaks to the management and ownership of their business. I did end up renting my groomsman suits from Moores however that was largely due to the lack of available options in Kitchener-Waterloo. Moores the suit people, Corp has some very tired options for rental suits. The management of this store bumped this to 3 stars, up from a 1 star.

I'm being a customer for a long time. I was buying stuff for my husband and sons, and was renting suits - had no issue, but the last experience was not so great: a store associate did lots of mistakes for my son's prom order. We order a purple tie and pocket handkerchief- got a black tie and purple pocket handkerchief. For this reason, I purchased a tie because there was no time to fix a mistake. Ordered shiny shoes, got - regular, ok fine. The measurement of the pants was a bit longer than should be and we didn't pay attention because all the time we only had good experiences and had no issues at all, but at the last moment I had to fix it by myself - it was a bit stressful. Also during our order, a lady asked when prom I said - June 29th, and I was supposed to return the suit on June 30th, a lady put in the notes it should be returned on June 29th. What was that? Hope it was a humane factor and just once, but I still have a bit bitter aftertaste

I brought my son in this morning to get a new suit for his university convocation.We were greeted at the door by the sales representative Jayne. From that first greeting to the time we walked out the door our experience was excellent (A++).Jayne took the time to find out exactly what my son was looking for and worked with him to meet and exceed his expectations.She even very professionally suggested that we purchase a new shirt and tie to go along with the beautiful suit that we purchased. We of course bought the shirt and tie as well.We will definitely be back for more suits in the future from such a professional sales representative that absolutely knows her trade!Way to go Moores and Way to go Jayne!Kind regards,Brian Whittaker

Walked into the store in need of professional help and quickly for a funeral. The two ladies there were super friendly and extremely helpful! Everything was taken care of with care and a few laughs! Great place and great sales staff! Would recommend to anyone in need of great service and great clothing!

In the simplest terms I can put it, the google rating system needs 6 stars for beyond outstanding performance. I rarely, and I mean rarely post reviews but my experience at the boardwalk Moore’s wise truly amazing. The fella who helped me, with the blue suit, is one of the most amazing people I’ve met. I was shopping for a green suit, super hard to come by, and he helped alongside every step of the way individually picking out items and finding me the perfect fit. He was truly passionate about his job and super friendly and joyful. Definitely will go back, if they ever get more green stuff!!!

I was assisted by Trish Nahrgang from the IRA Needle Store in Waterloo Ontario. The experience was exceptional. Her knowledge and patience was greatly appreciated. Moores is incredibly lucky to have such a great employee.
