Saint Alban's is located on the banks of the Credit River in the village of Glen Williams, Ontario, northwest of Toronto. this is a warm and friendly family parish where people can get to know each other and support one another on a mutual Journey of Faith.Said Eucharist ‐ The Book of Alternative Services (BAS) - Sundays at 8:30 am: A simple, said service of readings, prayers and communion.Choral Eucharist ‐ BAS - Sundays at 10:30 am: A service of readings, prayers and communion, with choir. Sunday School and nursery available.Candlelit Church - Sundays at 7:30pm: A beautiful old church, lit only by candles. An atmosphere of reverence and peace and wonder. Scripture, chanted psalms, slow prayer, beautiful music from a solo musician. Nothing for you to say or do or read - only to enter and receive and experience. To simply BE in the presence of God.Family Church: First, Third, Fifth Thurs. at 5:30pm: A family service tailor made for young children - short, active, teaching basics of the faith and followed by dinner! We're done by 6:30pm, in time for everyone to get home and into the bedtime routine. We ask each family to bring $5 to cover dinner.A Proud Heritage - An Exciting Future. The conerstone of St. Alban the Martyr was laid in 1902, and the church opened in June of following year.The architect was F. S. Baker, the son of a woollen miller in Kilbride, and a friend of Joesph Beaumont. F.S. Baker would later become the 2nd President of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada from 1910-1912.

Didn't enter but the church is beautiful from the outside. The grounds are along the Credit River and include a little peace park so it was a lovely place to take a stroll.

Great service

This review is for the hall & facilitators - what a great rental option! This space has a massive kitchen, is fully accesible, lots of bathrooms, and the room is quite large. I hosted a Santa event here last year and the space was amazing.As well, Louise is a delight to deal with & helps makes the process easy & facilitate everything! For the kitchen & size, their rates are great! Lots of parking and beautiful scenery right on the Credit river!
