Defy Hair & Esthetics

I purchased a deluxe pedicure from Defy on groupon. I’m not sure what was so deluxe about it? I’m glad I didn’t pay the regular price, because I’m sure it was just a regular pedicure. As well, I arrived for my original appointment and the tech thought my appointment was later so had double booked. I waited for about 25 minutes but I had to leave as I had to be somewhere after my appointment and I would have been late. When I arrived for my second appointment I did get an apology, but I was not offered anything for the waisted time and gas, not even an upgrade to gel. There was no warm towels put on my legs like the website states is apart of all pedicures. The tech was very nice, which is why I’m not giving a one star.

Andrea is really nice and sweet.I was half an hour late for my appointment because of some misunderstading of time. But she adjusted me in the schedule. Thank you

I'm Defy coming back to Andrea. She had me walking out looking better then Beyoncé. From the color, to the prices, to having her blow dry my hair so my cow lick didn't pop out with my bangs, I'm SO happy with how good of a job she did.It's taken a year.. but I've finally found my new hair dresser. Thanks again Andrea. You really do know what you're doing.

Angela is simply wonderful and her hair cuts are excellent! At our first appointment 6 months ago I had weak and damaged hair and she gave me a hair care routine to follow and now my hair is noticeably fuller and thicker! I can’t thank her enough!

Crystal was awesome! She gave me the exact look I was going for :) I enjoyed the whole experience.

Got my hair color done here, Andrea has been pretty amazing throughout the service. She was so patient even if she had her next appointment and did pretty good job for me!

I had an amazing experience at Defy! Angela did an incredible job with my hair (and she was super fast and hilarious). I would highly recommend her!! I'm really picky with my hair so typically pretty reluctant to try new stylists. After the service I received today I am very confident in saying her level of expertise will undoubtedly have you leaving happy with her work!

Was told the extensions were human hair and they aren’t. Once installed, she cut 4” off, did not blend and the cut is totally uneven. Posted pics on Instagram that make it look like they’re platinum and they’re nowhere near that color. Told they would “blend” when I wash my hair, but they certainly didn’t. Paid almost $600 and now I have to go to a different stylist to get new extensions done properly. I’ve had people ask me if it was a cheap wig. Extremely disappointed and now I have to pay even more money to start from scratch. DO NOT GET EXTENSIONS HERE!!!! The photos are edited to make them look ok. No attempt to try and blend, fix the crooked, blunt cut, nothing. Buyer beware.

I bought a groupon for a pedicure here and they were blaming groupon for the deal being wrong. I ended up paying $37 on groupon and they made me pay another 29. I may as well have just gotten a pedicure at my regular place. Plus after day the shellac is already coming off my toes. Unfortunately I will never be back for a pedicure there ever again. And just a little FYI if you buy the groupon they charged you the regular price once you get there you have to pay extra because they say that groupon screwed up the coupon. I thought it was pretty Horrible to the fact that they're not honoring what the coupon says.
