Lafflines Comedy Club

Awesome show. Great staff. Super clean place. Drinks arrived super fast and were not over priced. Parking nearby is only 2.50 for the whole evening. The comedians were great too! Thanks for the birthday passes.

This place is always fun. They have hilarious performers and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to go either! Good snack food. Last night I had the coconut shrimp and I must say it was delicious. The only complaint, not really complaint, my only wish was that I would have gotten 6 shrimp instead of 4. Love this place though. Make sure you sign up your email address with them as they ALWAYS have, constantly, consistently, promotions and half price tickets. Last night they emailed me up to 4 free passes just for being on the email list! Thanks Lafflines!

We came for the Trevor Wallace show and had a great time! The venue seems to have recently opened or repopened as there were stacks of chairs and tables waiting to be set up. Regardless the night was enjoyable with good food and decently priced drinks that came out pretty quickly.

This was our first time to Lafflines. It is located upstairs in a banquet like room. The chairs are well laid out so everyone can see the comedians. The service was excellent and we enjoyed the comedians. Even for a casual environment the staff and comedians were still very professional. For the price of the tickets this is great value.

The door staff and waitstaff were great. For a Friday night at peak hour, our group expected to at least laugh a little... The MC/opening act was very weird and awkward. It was almost hard to watch. It left our group bored. The headliner was less awkward, but we couldn’t wait to leave. Make sure you research the comedians before you go and don’t just go off of their profile on the website.

I perform here. So it's amazing. Staff is awesome. Food and drinks are awesome. Great comedians performing here, new and Dylan Rhymer. Is this a biased review? Yes. Dreams come true here. It's magical. Watch out for the unicorns.

Great place to go for a date or even with a big group of friends. Decent prices for drinks and the food is actually really good. Its a well run club and it really shows with how personal all the staff are. Always a great night out every time i go. Much better than yuk yuks downtown.

I go to this club because its close to me and GREAT VALUE ! I don't know why I haven't said anything before this. It's interesting to read the reviews for the first time and question where else you could get anywhere close to the entertainment value you get at Lafflines. Sure its in a historic area of New Westminster in an older building. When you charge so little for a 90 minute show with so much good comedy and value, I can complain about a bunch of other establishments before here. When you go, you may wait a few minutes for a drink. If you choose to eat here, it is a limited menu.I just love the fact you get to experience the talent close up and real. Recommend if you haven't been here, to check it out and support your local business.

The show we saw was actually in the main theatre below Lafflines.Great staff.Beautiful restoration. Nicely updated.Service was on point. Liked the paper straws. Lighting set the mood. Will definitely be back.My only suggestions would be to adjust the menu maybe to just sharables and to include deserts, tea and coffee. Perhaps concession snacks and something bubbly like a Prosecco too?Also table water is generally expected and bottled water should be avoided.A tiny bit more attention to detail as far as hiding extra seats in the back sides and I would simplify the table decor to stay away from unnecessarycenterpieces. Less is more.So happy to support local business keeping old theatres around!
