Worst experience ever - told me whomever with i have a appointment that person was on break from last 2 hours. They need to start firing and start hiring new people are ready work in bank . Not just i had a few people with me they were angry too. Branch manager needs to take some serious action.

Can you give zero stars? This branch might as well only be an ATM. The front and back office staff has no experience and is not even trying to be helpful.

Melanie is the worst manager I've ever dealt with. Very incompetent. Nobody really knows what's going on. Bank is closed at random times for no reason and no notice to customers. Staff have no idea how to process simple requests. Scotiabank has gone downhill. Will be shopping for a new bank for my business. The only reliable staff member" is the atm machine! Avoid at all costs!"

Real hours are different

They are supposed to be opened Saturdays..when there 2 different times on Saturday and both times I found a home made sign that said closed...it's a poor excuse for a professional " bank"

In my experience, the staff at this location have always been helpful. Ashley M. was very kind and helpful today, and also very sweet to my son.

If I could leave a negative star I would. The incompetence and disrespect from the officers at this branch was blinding. The tellers seemed fine but the management was despicable and needs to change.I will never go back or recommend them to anyone anymore. *sighs

The single worst experience with a bank and mortgage I have ever had. Not a single person in that department knows what they are talking about. Managers and mortgage specialists giving conflicting answers. Massive fees hidden in multiple addendums. Shorting us the mortgage amount we agreed on and sending the paperwork to our lawyer weeks after it was due. So many headaches and hassles and they have horrible open hours so you can’t even get a hold of anyone. Communication is abysmal. I would pay anything to never deal with their incompetence again. They should all be fired.

Worst customer service at any bank I’ve been to. Watched numerous times as staff laugh at customers as they walk away. Watched them laugh at an elderly man who had simple questions about how the banking system works. Simple question, and as he walked away, staff laughed to each other, while all the other customers in line watched. Quite disgraceful. Further, my wife cashed some cheques, which had “tips” written on it, as she does some serving on the side. The teller laughed at her, and my wife, who had enough of the garbage service there, confronted her, asking why she was laughing at her. She responded “it says tips, are these really your “tips””. Then proceeded to tell my wife how she never tips people, while laughing at my wife. This place is actually the worst. Incredibly unprofessional. We’ve been at Scotia for ages, for convenience. We’re leaving now. Service is one thing, but so far, the people I’ve dealt with at the promontory/vedder location have treated us like garbage. Zero client retention from them.

Bank canceled my debit card with out my asking them to do so. Proceeded to tell me there was nothing they could do to help me other than open a new account (which they then charged me a fee to do). Further, one of the tellers at this branch hung the phone up on me when I was stating how disappointed I was with this bank. Will tell everyone I know not to bank with Scotia.
