Ayoub's Dried Fruits & Nuts

A perfect place to buy a variety of nuts, dried fruits, and sweets; especially if you are looking for fresh and authentic Persian nuts and dried fruits. The aesthetics and the variety of the items they carry, make you feel like you’ve been transported to Iran. The sales lady, Sara, was very helpful and friendly. We had a great time at the store.

Great selection and service. They specialize in nuts and dried fruit but don’t miss the chocolate rocks! They are convincingly realistic smooth and flat river stones, and are exceedingly delicious dark chocolate inside.

Saskia was amazing at showing my boyfriend and I some sweet flavors. I love it when I come in here every time and it’s always a real treat. She made this time super special and blew our minds. Usually I get the Turkish delight but I also decided to go with this giant corn. Obviously, we’re coming back as soon as possible.

Amazing selection of nuts and dried fruit. Very high quality products. You can try as much as you want and choose what you like. There are multiple stores in the city with the same level of service.

We have shopped here a few times, the nuts are definitely delicious and fresh tasting. The staff are courteous, I would appreciate it thought if we are not given more than we ask for. Last week we visited the store, asked for 1/2 lb of an item and weighed in while checking out at over a lb. Will definitely return and be more mindful with the “weight” of what we will purchase!

We have been coming to get nuts from them for the last couple years. Nuts and dried fruits were always fresh! And they provide excellent customer service.

Ayoub's in Kitsilano is a great place to shop for their variety of bulk sweet and savoury options, including pecans (in or out of shell), macadamias, cashews, etc. These can be found natural or covered in different spices, all very tempting to try. You can also find here dried fruits and vegetables, and specialties like Turkish Delight and other sweets. Ayoub's now carries a selection of baked goods, sweet and savoury cookies in very original and tasty combinations. If you ask the staff, they will provide samples and bag your items. Definitely worth a visit. You will find something to excite your taste buds!

The best dates I’ve ever had. Lots of delicious nuts as well, and I love the sesame brittle! Definitely on the more expensive side, but it’s worth it for the quality and special occasions.

Love coming here for healthier snacks. I usually get the okra, pumpkin seeds, dried mango and dried passion fruit. There also mixes that allows you to try several different products in case you have trouble deciding which one you want.

This is an excellent establishment! Their food is fresh and very tasty, I was tempted to buy up the whole store (as if I could afford it :P), and the service was absolutely wonderful. The young man working the cash register was one of the kindest people I've ever met--he was very talkative, but not pushy, and he showed me around the store, guiding me to things I never would've expected to like, but ended up loving! I also feel guilty, as my group was one of many customers that kept him there well after closing, but he was very gracious and didn't seem to be rushing us at all, he was more patient than I could be! An older couple who was also there were being very rude to him, as he briefly took a phone call and they rudely interrupted, demanding he pay attention to them. This poor young man was clearly trying to get a lot done before closing, and was being very respectful, and they were very rude to him. But he didn't bat an eye, just apologized and helped them. If that were me I wouldn't have been so nice!!! All in all, a lovely experience, and I will be recommending Ayoub's to all of my friends for an excellent little store along West 4th, if only for the wonderful service and lovely classical atmosphere.
