The musical bus ride with Tommy was super, super fun, and informative about all things local. Definitely a unique Island experience with a great destination at the top. We had the pulled pork sandwich which was yummy. The pork had wonderful flavor and I ate it all…however my husband’s salt n’ pepper wings were REALLY, really delicious and I totally wanted more of those. They were eaten too quick before I could get a pic!

What to say? Well, I'm not super thrilled with this place. We gave it two chances (there aren't a lot of choices of restaurants on Galiano Island) and both times the food wasn't that great, I'd have honestly preferred fast food.I would have left a better review except for the fact that my take out bill has a $1.00 irroneous take out charge" on it

The place is very relaxing especially outside on the deck. The staff were very polite and they had a good selection of Sleeman on tap. A really nice thing about the pub is they off transportation to and from Montegue Harbour Provincial Park during the summer months. We did not get a chance to eat here but by observing the other patrons who were eating they did seem to get their meals in a timely fashion.

When all the locals say “don’t go there”, it’s time to listen. If you’re getting fried food, that’s easy. I ordered a large Caesar salad with bacon (the bacon add on was $3), and got about 3/4 cup of lettuce swimming in dressing, that had precisely the limp and slimy consistency of a salad you took home and left in the fridge for two days before trying to eat it again. The $3 bacon add on was about 1/4 of a single piece of bacon, crumbled over the salad. That was $19. I also ordered a soda water, which was charged at $5. I only hear horrible things from locals, and was so sad to have my fears confirmed. At least I didn’t get food poisoning, as is rumoured to be a regular occurrence. It was the only place open that day, or else I wouldn’t have even tried it. Gross, guys, do better!

Skylar was great! Friendly and chatty. The older woman server was a scatter brain and tried to over charge us for everything. Couple beers on draft, yummy Caesar’s. We had the breakfast sandwich which were tasty but the lady server ruined our day when she got overwhelmed by our 2 person bill even after we confined everything both of us ordered. I heard her complaining about it behind the bar…. Not cool LisaNot many other options on the island

Probably one of the best places in Galiano to eat. Great food and tap selection, extremely friendly servers, nice atmosphere and two pool tables give a great touch to this pub. Make sure to visit whenever you’re in Galiano!

Honestly it's 4 stars for the pub but the fantastic bus ride puts this place at a full 5 stars by itself! If you go to Montague do NOT miss the bus to the Hummingbird pub

Two hungry teens and two hungry adults ...spent $120 and walked away hungry. Only drinks we had were 2 bottles of water and 2 juice. No appies, no dessert. The food took forever...it was 530, and a little busy.Won't be going backProbably should have checked our bill, but the bus was leaving

We went to have lunch in our first day and last day in the island. The waitress was very friendly and had a warm service. The place is really cozy and has a lovely decoration. All food was good, I specially loved the toasts with the garlic and oil prawns and the seafood chowder which I felt like homemade during our first visit. Unfortunately the last day we went, we asked for the seafood chowder but they had just one dish and it seemed a few portion compared with the first day, probably because it was the last one, we also ordered the soup of the day which was beef with veggies but it was very salty. Also, Guinness beer had an ackward taste (good that the waitress warned us and gave a little to try before we ordered it so we didn't go ahead), they did not have dessert menu, the waitress told us because of low season. Prices are ok. This is your best option in the island because you will find it opened all year round.
