Jack Layton Park
Nice place to catch a sunset. Nice view. The only thing missing is a playground for families with young kids. There are plenty of picnic tables.

Very nice parkThere are trails for walking, a beach to sunbathThe Place were you could put your boat in the water. The only downside the parking lot is for resident of the city. Be aware the penalty for unlawful parking is 250.00 dollars

This place is beautiful, peaceful and clean. You can walk to the beach from here. The only turn off is that you need a permit to park here, if not, you get a ticket. The residents do not like not having parking when they get here, so they've made it mandatory to have a permit to be able to park. It kind of makes me feel like non residents are not welcomed. BUT there is a parking lot about 3-4 minutes walk away from the park.

Beautiful park with stunning views over the lake. There are also trails leading to Sandy Beach, and plenty of squirrels around if you want to watch some wildlife. Parking is available if you have a permit from the city.

A very well-kept waterfront park in Hudson, right next to Sandy Beach. A tranquil and pretty spot to sit on a bench with a book or just take in the view. Bring your kayak to navigate the water, have a picnic or even go fishing!

Barbecue is not allowed in the entire Hudson area, we didn't know unfortunately, we looked a lot but there was no sign, a nice policewoman told us and we stopped Barbecuing right away

Very nice park and big parking space for trailers, BUT you need parking permits or might get a fine. Free for local residence but quite expensive for people from other regions.
