Allegra Restaurant
This was a nice place and we were optimistic given the reviews by locals. We had the roasted butternut squash ravioli and the orange peppered salmon fillet. The food was okay but not particularly exciting.

A lovely, elegant spot to spend our 15th anniversary. Food was fantastic. The service was perfect! Only positive things to say. Well done❤️

This had fantastic food. I was unsure that it was rated so good just because it was compared to other restaurants in Cranbrook; but if you compared it to fine dining in Calgary it would line up with the best. Too bad it is small, but I guess it makes it feel more quaint and attention to detail is good. Another down side is that they leased a spot in an old strip mall, so the facilities is not too notch. I liked that you could look at the kitchen and thank the chef for the best meals ever! It is very Italian/Mediterranean, so don't eat here if you think mushrooms on a burger are too adventurous...

The food and service here is always incredible. I have not had a meal that I didn’t love- Best food in Cranbrook in my opinion. Every time we come here we are blown away by the experience. If you are looking for somewhere in town to go for dinner, this is definitely it.

Easily the best fine dining experience I have had in quite some time. Relaxed atmosphere. Kind, swift service (Lana was a delight), and every single bite was divine. Ordered a couple starters, soup and salad, pork medalians and penne Nepali and all of it was 5 star. I've paid more for a meal that wasn't as good. Will be back for sure.

TLDR: fantastic food at a reasonable price, great presentation, friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere.I came in as a single diner without a reservation, I was given a friendly greeting and was seated at their bar. It was a comfortable seat, though the height of the bar was much closer to my face than the average table would have been. All the better to shovel the fantastic food into my mouth though!I ordered the Caesar salad starter, which they milled fresh cracked pepper onto, it was a very well balanced homemade dressing, lovely. For my entree I had the lobster and crab ravioli with the cream pesto sauce and balsamic glaze. With milled pepper and fresh grated parmesan, this dish had me dancing in my seat. Delicious. The presentation and quality of the food is well worth the reasonable price in my opinion.I highly recommend this restaurant!

We are a party of 17 (lady golfers from BC and ON on a golf trip organized by WOMEN WHO GOLF - SMASHING THE GRASS CEILING). We had an extensive set menu catered for us. My choices - Mediterranean crab cakes, Chicken with spaghetti and dessert (home made meringue with ice cream snd berries sauce.). I cleaned out the plates. Food were tasty and fresh ingredients were used. All the staff are very polite and pleasant. I will be eating in this restaurant again, when I am in Cranbrook and its neighbouring towns.
