Mary Brown's Chicken

My daughters, grandaughter & myself decided to get something to eat quite late tonight and was craving chicken. Thought we would try the new Mary Brown's in Lacombe and it was an amazing experience for us all. We were served by a lady named Rashad (I think that's what her name was, please forgive me if its wrong) and she was an absolute sweetheart, she was so kind and attentive. She smiled the whole time we were there and kept asking if there was anything else we needed. She was all alone working and made sure we were completely taken care of. Her manager should be very proud that they have such an amazing employee!!!The food was incredible as well 10 out of 10 rating. We will definitely be returning

Had excellent service on Tuesday night. They were short staffed and the two people working managed to get my 18 piece meal ready in a timely matter and were super friendly! Delicious fresh food! Would definitely recommend. Not sure why the rating is so slow, perhaps people could be more understanding of staffing shortages and not ruin a new business because they are impatient!

I have never found anyone at the front till at this location. I have to give a shout to get someones attention. Twice I have ordered from the app and they forgot to check their system so I had to wait double the time. Currently sitting waiting for yet another order where no one has even acknowledged that I am in the building.

Great restaurant, phenomenal chicken and good customer service. The employees struck up a fun and engaging conversation so I would not be bored while waiting for my food and the different options on the menu were also a treat, definitely recommend coming out here with your family.

Ordering online is a joke. They also don't accept gift cards they have been open for a year or more the brand new gift card wouldn't work online asked in store about it and the lady just shrugged her shoulders. she couldn't have cared less. just said we can't do gift cards only online I tried explaining i did it online and it wasn't accepted. She then proceeded to tell me if it wasn't scratched she would be able to use it in store, I told her I have brought it in three times without it being scratched and they have told me no every time and she just walked away from me. When ordering you get a confirmation email but it doesn't tell you how long the wait will be you can track your order but can't refresh it to see when it will be ready. Also their business licence is expired on the wall with the safe food and handling expiring at the end of this month.

Food is great and the staff are really nice. Been here every week grabbing chicken and taters. Highly recommended!

(Read Full Review)It’s really important to get things right in “rural communities” cause people people talk and they can destroy your reputation but what these people don’t realize is that there real people working at these places.Honestly, it’s truly sad to read these comments at this location, I feel that people don’t give this place enough credit and small group of entitled “albertans” gave this place a bad label and that they don’t live up to their entitled standards.How about a real honest review from someone that actually have a valid opinion: Best damn service I’ve received so far at Lacombe. I feel absolutely sad for the people that work here have to deal with entitled “rural folk” that don’t know what good service means, just read the reviews and all the horrible things they say.Based on my experience it’s the opposite. It’s absolutely horrible how this place is getting treated. I just wanted to say something realAnd honest and also thanks for being such wonderful people.My evening dinner was great. Showed up Sunday at 5:30 with my family. Took the staff 15 minutes just to acknowledge my wife only to say how long other people are waiting for food. No clue why the owners opened a franchise just to employ only 2 people at dinner rush on a weekend routinely. Not the first time it's taken us a half hour to get food...but this time was our last coming here.

Stopped in for some chicken and taters, they were great and the service was awesome…I’ll be back
