NAG Bag's - Slow Hay Feeders

I bought a 2in trailer bag and 5x5 round bale hay net and reliably used all winter. I do live in Florida so winters aren’t that bad or cold unless your me. After all the use with 3 horses on it with access with a pasture of little hay the round bale net only got shredded on a few strings. This hay net made our round bales typically last 2 weeks where as before without would last maybe 5 day. The strings are still intact and just used it this last week with no problem.I just ordered 3 more 1.5in hanging bags and a 1.5in 4x4 round bale bag to slow my girls down a bit. I will come back here and exchange the 4x4 to a 5x5 if necessary.

We love our NAG bags! We feed our horses and cows in these amazing hay saving bags and can't say enough good things. There is nothing more frustrating than feeding a nice bale out and watching it blow up in the feeder and the cows waste half of it. Our slow feeder nets have eliminated all hay waste! They are so worth it!

These bags are the best I’ve used. They’re strong. And come in holes as small as 1”. I’d a hole develops it’s easy enough to repair with twine. Perfect for my icelandics. Trailer bags size is the size I use. Holds 2-3 flakes and hangs on my fence without touching the ground.

I have used several different brands of hay slow feeders and these are the absolute best! I have 2 small bale bags that have lasted 2 years with daily use. I just ordered 2 more bale bags and 2 smaller bags for stalls and trailer. I love that these don’t have any knots in the webbing as it is better for horse’s teeth. Pricey but totally worth it. Oh and they have amazing customer service!

Love these slow feeder bags. Have 2 (one inside and one outside) for my hearty eater and it slows him down nicely. The barn owner has been so impressed with them that she just ordered 3 for other horses in the barn. They work. My horse is happy. And they Last.Plus the Customer Service is excellent and they ship out really quickly.

The hay ring + net is the perfect product for our winter feeding! I'm amazed at how little waste there is and the nets are very durable. This our first season with it but I'm sure it will last for years - Mandy recommends storing the net in a mouse-proof tub when not in use. We have 4 horses eating grass hay and they are going through the bale at a reasonable rate + keeping their condition. Really happy with this purchase!

Extremely happy with Nag bags - I am new to slow feeding so ordered 1 bag from two different companies to see which one would work better for my setup. I was so happy with Nag bags for their square bale bags, that I ordered another bag for round bales. The quality of the bags is excellent and the customer service is even better. I am located in Alberta and had received and was using my first Nag bag for an entire week before my second bag arrived from a different company in Alberta.The Nag bag square bale bag fits my 60-70 lb square bales perfectly and their sizing guide is excellent!I ended up choosing a 2.75 inch bag for a Percheron quarter horse cross who is an easy keeper but switched to a 2inch round bale bag for my rounds given that he adapted extremely well (almost too well) switching from loose hay to a 2.75inch hole bag.

Quality products that last! Super helpful staff and they stand behind their stuff. The mesh with no knots is so much better for my horses teeth. I love my hay nets, big and small.

I have used Nag Bags for years and continue to. They are a great way to encourage my horses to eat slower.

I purchased five nag bags for my horses about ten years ago and my Haflinger (who eats anything, all the time) just managed to eat hers. They are great bags, easy to fill and withstand just about anything the horses give out. I am just now replacing Hungry Haffie’s bags and bought some extras for some new horses. Great product.
