Read the reviews and thought they were just too good to be true but after I paid them a visit, I agree. These gentlemen are professionals that knows how to treat a customer. There charges are reasonable and posted.Ron made an excellent suggestion to split the pendant in two, as is was just too much diamonds and stone in one pendant and he did not even charge me extra for the work that he has done. I called Jack hoping to be seen as soon as possible. Just so happened he was able to book me in within the hour. What a fabulous man. He really is personable, and efficient. His professionailism is unmatched. Thank you Jack for your service and fantastic price.

Update: Jack at IGL is amazing. This is my 3rd visit for appraising jewellery with Jack, where he appraise it on the spot infront of you. The account system they use is amazing and currently appraised 10 items to date. Will return to appraise our other jewellery as well.

After searching around continuously to find a store willing to appraise the ring infront of me, I found this place! I was also able to get my ring resized and I'm absolutely in love with the results! Ron is an artist! Looks brand new and fits perfectly. Ron and Jack also exhibited extreme professionalism and kindness when answering all my questions! The price of the appraisal and resizing was very very fair. I can't thank or recommend IGL enough!

I purchased 2 pre-loved VCA necklaces and wanted to get them appraised and authenticated, especially since they were second hand. I called around the City to see if any jewelers would be able to appraise/authenticate and most jewelers I spoke to did not feel comfortable dealing with VCA jewelry. Then I came across IGL and saw all the awesome reviews so I decided to submit an inquiry. I received a call back very quickly and immediately knew that I had found the right place to bring my jewelry into. Ron looked at both my necklaces and he was very professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. I felt really good about my purchases after getting them appraised by Ron. The customer service at IGL is top notch – from the phone conversations, appointment bookings, to the actual appointment. I couldn’t be happier about the whole experience, and I highly recommend IGL.

Met Jack yesterday. Was in the area so dropped in to inquire about getting an appraisal. Was informed that they prefer to work with appointments for appraisals but as it turned out Jack had a few spare minutes and did my ring appraisal on the spot. Price was excellent and the appraisal was detailed and professional. Jack also took the time to answer quite a number of unrelated jewellery questions I had. THANKS JACK!

Jack was both professional in his work and helpful in explaining the qualities of a good diamond. Ron expertly cleaned and polished my jewelry without additional charge. Would highly recommend a visit for gemstone appraisal/grading and custom designed pieces.
