Ambleside Dog BNB

Carolyn is an absolute GEM! My one year old pup Lemon, spent a week with her while I was out of town and she had the best time. We received many updates from Carolyn, lots of photos and videos of Lemon having a blast. It was so nice knowing Lemon was in good hands and getting extra attention while we were away. I would 10/10 recommend Carolyn's Ambleside Dog BnB!

I really appreciated the clear communication and the relaxed, loving atmosphere at Carolyn's place. I left my 3 year old husky mix with her for four nights and my dog was totally relaxed and happy when she came home (much better than how she reacted to boarding at a kennel). Carolyn sent me photos and updates every day to let me know how it was going. I'll definitely be booking again in the future!

Ambleside Dog BNB provided an amazing experience for grand-dog Copper. He lived the good life of dog beds, play time, meals and walks for four days with kind host Carolyn just like he was at home. He was calm and happy with no anxiety, and immediately felt trust and connection with Carolyn on his very first stay there. Such an excellent, personalized, cost-effective, and caring in-home approach for furry loved ones with a host that truly cares about them, and will care for them as if they are her own. We highly recommend Ambleside Dog BNB and will be back.

I first saw Ambleside dog bnb business card when I was taking my dog Parker for a walk. It was posted on the waste bin so I took a picture of it thinking it may be useful in the future. After looking at the website and the address more closely I realized that this place was only several doors down the street from me. I had a really busy day Canada with work downtown and then planned to watch the riverhawks game so I wasn't able to go back to look after Parker the whole day. So I booked a boarding day/night for Parker with Carolyn (the owner). She was amazing and parker took to her immediately. Carolyn is very good with dogs as she used to own a couple. She updated me throughout the day with pictures and comments and parker had a great time there. She's very reasonably priced and I would definitely have her take care of Parker again in a heartbeat. Would highly recommend!

We left our Zoey with her for a week on vacation with no worries. Our fur baby also had her vacay playing with other dog. We love that she sent us updates with photo and videos <3 : )

We are 100% satisfied with care and attention our 2 dogs have received during their (9 days) stay.Carolyn was not only very thorough in the details she collected before the stay (from meal time/quantity to understanding their behaviour including likes/dislikes) she was also super welcoming. I was on a road trip from Regina and was travelling with my seven month old puppy, Scooby. She was extremely dissatisfied with the travel and was anxious when I dropped her with Carolyn. Carolyn took extra care and made sure Scooby was safe. Carolyn also shared pictures and videos of Scooby's playtime. I would definitely recommend her as she gives special attention towards each dog.

Ambleside Dog BNB was a fantastic experience. I’ve never trusted anyone other then family to take care of my pups and I trust Carolyn!I got updates and pictures of my dogs having fun, going for walks and anything in between. The dogs loved it and can’t wait to go back !!!

Ambleside Dog BNB provided wonderful care to my two elderly dogs. Carolyn was super attentive in offering the dogs a routine as similar as possible to the one they have at home, and she ensured they felt happy and safe during their stay. They also enjoyed daily walks, playtime, and several perks like the dog bed that she offered them, which they loved. She also sent me regular photos and updates, which was great. The communication before and during the stay was always easy and flexible. Finally, my dogs came back home happy and healthy, and I am relieved that I found a place where my elderly buddies can stay when I am away.

I am so happy I found Ambleside Dog BNB. It was my first time leaving my dog, Cookie, with someone else and I felt at ease leaving him with Carolyn. She's very attentive and takes really good care of any dog that stays with her. I really enjoyed the updates and already recommended her to one of my co-workers. We will definitely come back in the future. 100% satisfied.
