TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM

We have banked with TD for a lot of years but I have to say the Teller customer service of the downtown branch is just appalling.I was there at lunchtime today and like most people we are in our lunch break so time is of the essence, I waited in a line up of only two people ahead of me but a steady stream behind me, there were only 2 Tellers working and the remaining staff including their manager were off to the side chatting and laughing, our line did not make a single move for 15 minutes, another gentleman behind me left the line up to take a seat and then when a teller became free he just skipped the line up, the teller was willing to serve him until we protested.Then suddenly the Manager opens a Teller spot herself and then another staff member also opens a Teller, when I approached the Manager to give my well intended advice she dismissed me with a We do what what we can" and that was it

I have had credit with TD Canada Trust for 16 years. My payment history is perfect - not just very good, but literally perfect. They refused to underwrite a $230/month mortgage, and not only that they took the entire conditions period (plus one additional day) to decide that, so I paid for an inspection on a property I couldn't buy.

I’m very impressed with the level of service from the loan department including Linette Miller, Margo Whitford , Leslie Morrison, and Jimson Paras . They have really demonstrated an understanding of my investments and have been instrumental in achieving my goals. I Recommend this team to anyone running a business.

Horrible branch, while I can't speak about TD as a whole this branch my company uses and there are always long lines with one teller. Almost always crackheads camping in the bank would not use this as my personal brank if they paid me.

2023 June 30th 3:30 pmI'm not impressed with TD Bank. Maybe someone else might have better results, But this is my story.I sold my house April 21st 2023 in Innisfail. Completion of sale is June 30th 2023 Friday.The lawyers that did the paper work on my house wereDixon and Associates Law; the old court house here in Red DeerFor some reason TD Bank at this DownTown location holds any and all Cheques from Lawyers. Dixon and Associates has been around in Red Deer for Decades and is well known in the Red Deer community as an upstanding contributing member. That's one good reason why I used this Law firm.So..I have been a TD Customer since 2014 and have bought and sold 2 homes and had Mortgages through TD Bank; 1 in Langley BC and 1 in Chilliwack BC and never any problem with a Lawyers cheque being processed right away and releasing funds from the sales.This TD DownTown branch decided to put a 10 day hold on my account June 30th to make sure that the cheque I got from Dixon & Associates Law Firm is Valid and wont bounce as I was told from the Manager of TD Bank.When my Account / Funds get released July 10th I will be closing my account with TD Bank NEVER returning and doing business with them again.Obviously I have a good credit rating or TD Bank wouldn't have loaned me a mortgage twice on two separate occasions for two different homes in two different locations.I just thought Google and folks should know before they get a mortgage from TD Bank.You're better off with Servus Credit Union.Just sayin my $0.02And when you read other reviews; I doubt the wrong has been righted.

1 person on at 10 am on Thursday, line up just kept growing, Slowest service ever. People were just turning around and leaving.

I’ve been with TD for over 10 years and never had such a horrible experience with any of their advisors.Avoid this branch or particularly Jimson Paras.Poor communication skills and very unhelpful in answering any of my reasonable questions. Walked out in less than 5 mins.

Visited this branch today. I had no prior appointment booked but Sherryl and Marilou were amazing. They were able to resolve some of my account issues during the same visit.

Always awesome I am so grateful for this bank . Been with them for over 20 yrs and they truly come through
