Lots of awesome clothes, and good prices. But just a couple issues:1. When you sell clothes to them, they will often refuse certain articles of clothing, but then if you bring them back the next day to someone else, they might accept them. Seems like whether they buy the clothes is less based on the actual value or brand of the article, but more on the opinion of the person working that day.2. As a guy, I feel somewhat uncomfortable shopping here. The staff are friendly but it seems like they treat their male customers differently than the rest of their customers. Often times the customer in front of me in line (a woman) is greeted friendly, and the employees smile and ask them about their day, but then when it's my turn, they turn cold and seem like they don't want to be seen talking to me. And I have seen this behavior from multiple employees with other male customers as well.

**** EDIT ****I decided to test my assumption of them not actually looking at clothes. I “special” folded all the clothes differently then your average person as well as stacked them in a specific order and even took a picture of it just to make sure I didn’t mix anything up. And sure enough again not one thing was purchased and only THREE shirts were unfolded and left crumbled in the bag and the others were still folded and merely tossed around 90% still with the same clothing item above and below it as when I put them in the bag…. So they most definitely arnt actually looking at some peoples clothes and in this case Im assuming it’s girls their jealous of becuase I sent my boyfriend in with a bag and they looked at every piece and actually even bought “older styles” (I bought in store like 8 years ago) and even a shirt with a stain…This place is such a joke both employee wise and selling wise and so unprofessional. Not once have I ever been greeted, When shopping I get silence until im told the total, when selling I receive again silence until they tell me I’ll get a text when finished. There is zero friendly customer service instead these girks sit behind the counter and gossip about customers making them uncomfortable… they don’t do their jobs properly and just enjoy being rude to female customers and don’t ever even actually go through items being brought in to them. I received around $500 in lululemon clothing for Christmas, sadly all the wrong size. I brought all items in and they didn’t take one single item and their reasoning being “older styles” and “ware” .. ummm no absolutly zero chance of either reason being actually valid and true. Not one item had ever been worn and all items were bought brand new from the lululemon store iteself less then 6 months ago.

Horrible. Took a full box of over 20 pairs of jeans (some still with tags on them), box of scrubs and a box of worn good shape summer shoes.They said they would probably be half an hour to go through the clothes and they would text me when done. Not even 15 minutes later they were done". Go back and at the register the lady said they were unable to purchase anything from me due to daily wear.Well needless to say everything in the boxes were folded the exact same as when I took them in and the new jeans with tags were not even touched.Will NEVER take anything there again!!! And staff was not friendly at all."

I used to bring clothes in all the time and get some money back. But the passed few times I have, I've recieved no offers from them or a few dollars for brand name never worn things due to its out of style" excuse. For example I brought in a TNA sweater that I've worn 3 times in my life and they offered me $4?!?! No thank you

Don’t waste your time or energy here. Extremely overpriced, triple the price than the stores in Calgary are. I was utterly shocked! In Calgary they have brand name stuff, tags on for 30% of the original price - because that is what the company (Plato’s closet is a chain store) stands for. Disappointed.

Idk if it's discrimination because I'm native but I brought in a big tub of clothes as I just had a baby and don't fit into the ones I dropped off. They only looked at the top of the bin and then told me they are not taking anymore clothes. I'm wondering why they didn't tell me as I was dropping off the clothes and wasted my time to go back and they lied saying the looked through it all but the clothes at the bottom wit still folded nicely not like the top. And when I called them to complain about them not lookingthrough the whole bin all I heard was laughing from the manager and another women. My first time dropping off items and it wasn't a good experience. D

You can find premium footwear brands like Nike, Adidas, and New Balance for a fraction of the price at this store. They also have Nike shorts, Adidas sweaters and festive sweaters. Definitely worth checking out!
