I've had a great experience at all the Micheal Hill locations, recently they have been able to do a speedy resizing just before my wedding. The staff are extremely, friendly, and helpful (even when I come in with my work clothes on). I am very glad I chose to buy my engagement ring from Micheal Hill.

I am from out of town and was shopping for some jewelry for a gift in the mall. We were just starting to look and I thought I heard one of the salespersons say Can I help you? I replied I am just looking. She looked at us and said, I was asking How was your day? in a very rude sarcastic tone. I had honestly not heard her correctly when she had spoken the first time. I was shocked and became angry and immediately left. I was legitimately looking for a present and her rude comments lost a sale. Will not be back, ever.

Emily is a STAR!! I took a terribly tarnished silver necklace in to be cleaned, and Emily did an AMAZING job! My necklace looks brand new!!!

Do not shop here or with Michael hill period I purchased a ring from them a month later diamond's fell out. They re made the ring from scratch and the same thing happened. Their quality is poor, and workman ship they do not stand behind they product and will not refund you even if the product is defective. They even went as far as to blame me because the ring was re sized when they told Me when I purchased the ring they could re size. They only want to make a sale at the expense of the customer they don't care if your happy or not I've had the ring less then a year and my wife can't wear it its been away for repair then it's been on her finger inexcusable. This is the worst purchase and shopping experience I've ever had.

The customer service and management are outstanding. My fiancé bought me the wrong engagement ring and when I went in to get it cleaned, I mentioned the dilemma and they were so eager to help and exchanged it for the ring I really wanted. I cried in the store!They were so lovely and understanding.And the hubby is out of the dog house!

Bought a men’s wedding band in Kelowna from a very very pushy salesperson. Was encouraged to buy now because of a sale, confirmed with salesperson the return policy and was advised of a 30 day hassle free return policy.Did some consumer review research on the ring once home and there was an overwhelming number of reviews with pictures demonstrating quality issues with frequent breaking and failure within 18 months.Went to Vernon location to return the ring two days later. The sales associate was respectful and polite, the manager was snotty and incredulous. The below conversation reflects how that return request went:‘And why are you returning this’‘There are quality control issues with this ring, it was bought two days ago, has sat in the box. Read reviews and it’s not favourable.’‘I’ve literally never heard of that ever.’‘It’s all over your website’‘What website’‘Your website’‘Our website?’‘Yes.’‘No.’‘Yea. It’s littered with people showing pictures that the ring just separates and breaks within 18 months.’‘No.’‘Yes. I’d like a refund.’‘I’ve literally never heard of that happening ever and no one’s returned this ring ever.’‘Refund please.’Then the manager tells her associate ‘inspect it thoroughly and make sure he hasn’t just been wearing it all day and returning it because it’s scratched now.’Permanently lost our business now.
