I have known Darlene for over 20 years. She gives by far the best facial I have ever had. I lived in Toronto for over 10 years and her facial is better than most of the top spas that I would go to when I lived there. She really has a magic touch.Most recently she has a new product for pain and it is truly amazing. She has both a cooling and a heat option and I can speak from experience - both products they work wonders. My whole family swears by the products. They are all natural and you can feel them working as soon as you rub it on. HIGHLY recommend!!

The facials I have received at Relax Beauty have been really wonderful. Darlene Shapiro has a very professional and caring way of providing unique service to each of her clients. She is so knowledgeable and intuitive when it comes to facial care. I have never looked as healthy and glowing, even at age 60!, as when I get a facial at Relax Beauty!

I love Relax! I am and will always remain a faithful customer. Darlene does it like no other - - she caters to your needs and does an excellent job. I don't go anywhere else for waxing due to my sensitive skin! I just got a facial for Darlene and I am more than happy with the results. She understood my low pain tolerance, and sensitive skin, and she did a phenomenal job at cleaning up! My skin has never been more smooth and clear. She took her time, didn't rush at all, and made sure to do a good job. Service like this is so rare!!Along with waxing and the facial, I've also gotten my nails and makeup done at relax! While she's a little more expensive in terms of manicures and pedicures, it's definitely worth the splurge! My nails always looked awesome! I had a great experience with makeup too! Due to my skin tone, and discolouration, I've never had a makeup artist work well with my skin. Usually the colours are all off, and they don't pay much attention to the fact that my skin is sensitive. Darlene on the other hand, is so knowledgeable! She could recognize the undertones in my skin and using my face and eye shape, taught me how to contour and do my eyes. I did this with her two years ago and I still use her techniques!Relax is by far the best! I have never been so happy receiving spa and beauty services, and I've never been so confident about splurging for some self care! While finances can be tough, I always know that my services at relax are worth every penny. The atmosphere is so comforting and both Darlene and Sari are contagiously bubbly. I've never felt more welcome, or comfortable in an establishment like this before. I don't feel alienated for my skin tone, my body shape, my hair growth. Where I may feel self conscious going somewhere for waxing or pedicures, I've never felt that way with Relax. I know I'll be taken care of, and that the results will be phenomenal! It also helps that they have their own line of products that are all natural and frankly, a steal, when comparing to other products in dermatology and wellness. Relax is the best!

Darlene is such a kind and amazing woman! I bought her nail kit and when I picked it up in the shop she gave me a manicure and really educated me about my nail shape, how to take care of them, and how to use the products correctly. She also threw in a ton of extra goodies! I never knew how badly I needed a proper manicure. What a huge difference from when I walked in there! I never knew how good my nails could feel!

Not only does Darlene give the best most intense pedicure for difficult feet, but her products are incredible. I buy her natural face wash, amazing butter, lipstick and more. Everything is amazing!

Darlene is extremely skilled and passionate with her craft! She showed my feet the much needed love they were missing with an excellent pedicure. I would highly recommend her salon. She runs it on her own, so schedule early and she will promptly respond. Darlene has a very holistic approach to self-care. An amazing person, very friendly and easy to talk to.

She’s THAT amazing. People find it wild that I drive that far to get my brows done but honestly it is the impeccable service that keeps me coming back. She takes her time but that’s because she is so precise — she is truly a genius at her craft. She also has her own skincare line that I’ve purchased from like her facial oil. It was specifically custom made for my skin type. You cannot find service like this at other places.She also gives the best advice on life, regular care+maintenance tips and even movie suggestions hahaI just adore her!
