They recently moved out of the mall to the... grand promenade? Anyway, yikes. The automatic door doesn't work, nor does the elevator. These are issues with the building, not the business, but cmon man. Unacceptable to open such an inaccessible business. Huge area filled with nothing but a sad little cut into nook. Super inconvenient location! Would recommend finding a new branch as this is a really big downgrade

We had to make a very important wire transfer,we came all the way from Seattle to loughheed,we got delayed at the border and wasted more time going to their old office ,by the time we reached loughheed the bank had closed,but the staff was still working inside ,we requested them and explained our entire situation,but it wasn't in their powers,till finally Mariam Heindi the branch manager showed up and heard our stressful story and took a call to help us,she held humanity over and above everything and made our transaction go through,we really appreciate her efforts from the bottom of our hearts .A very humane Branch Manager,she will definitely rise and shine.

Very disappointed they moved out of Lougheed Mall where they've been for years. The new location is very inconvenient, a fairly long walk in the summer heat for an older person. So much for one-stop shopping. Not impressed, BMO.

I had a very bad customer service experience with Cathy Chen (Personal Banking Associate) and Maryam Hendi (Branch Manager) at the BMO Lougheed branch on August and September 2022, respectively. Cathy Chen misled my mother and signed a significant amount of non-redeemable GIC, and without informing her there is a penalty for withdrawing the entire amount from the account. My mom just wanted to invest a simple term deposit. But Cathy convinced my mom to do a non-redeemable GIC and gave her a below-market value rate as she is a senior who doesn't speak English. She also never discussed the penalty or consequence if she would like to withdraw the GIC. Through the discussion with Cathy and Maryam, I can see Cathy failed to explain that if my mother redeemed the non-redeemable GIC, she would face a penalty as stated both verbally and in the contract. When I asked Cathy why she gave such a below-market value interest rate, she said because my mother did not request a higher rate on the signing day. I believe her response was disrespectful and demonstrated that she was not concerned about the customer's financial well-being. Besides, Maryam refused to make any concessions and stated that the penalty charge would remain in effect if it was redeemed. After a few days, Maryam offered my mom a small portion of cash incentive in order to settle it. I decline the offer as it still cannot be comparable in the market at that period.I feel this branch demonstrates a scam and unprofessional up-selling skill, especially to customers who do have not much banking experience or English, which is not very well-establish. I can see the branch manager covering up her staff even though she made the mistake. It makes us as loyal customers lose our confidence in BMO and destroy the long-term relationship.I contacted the BMO digital care team the next day by email but still, no one follow up on the issue for the last 7 days. I am very disappointed with BMO's service and not recommending BMO to all my friends and family.

Usually got OK service, though dealing with phone calls was always a pretty frustrating experience, but they moved recently and I can’t believe they chose the location they did.I spent so much time wandering around trying to find their new location that by the time I found it they were closed.Directions on where to find it were ridiculously poor - there could be a map on their old location to their new location instead of just a sign with the address, but nope.The few signs they have outside of the new building could have included instructions on where to find the entrance instead of just an arrow, but nope.Even the arrow is a misleading because you do not just walk down the way it points until it leads you to a BMO accessible from outside the building (like the CIBC), you go that way for a short while, then take an elevator to the 4th floor and enter the building, which is then where you find the bank.There’s no sign for it outside of the building at any of the entrances, or outside the elevators/stairs, though once you find the elevator you need it says inside the elevator that BMO is on the 4th floor, which obviously isn’t helpful for anyone actually looking for the place, it’s only helpful once you’re already inside the elevator, which means you’re basically already there.If I hadn’t randomly looked up and seen a BMO logo on a high up window I would have had no idea at all where the bank was, as the building itself is just a maze of corridors with virtually no signage and inaccessible entrances/elevators.So INCREDIBLY frustrating, I was low key considering closing my accounts if I didn’t find it just so I’d never have to waste my time with this again.For crying out loud, I mean, at least put up some adequate signs outside to help people find the place!Terrible choice in the new location, and how it’s advertised if they have hopes of anyone finding the place, it was far more convenient in the mall.
