Dropped by here on Wednesday night and it was quite busy. It looked like they had a free beer with a burger. We didn’t have the burger but it did look really good. We shared two appetizers and they were really excellent. This is a nice local establishment and used to be a very well known pub. I don’t know if I would call it a pub as much anymore because it has been quite modernized and the menu isn’t your regular pub fare. The service was excellent and the wine list had great options. You can also get off sales. Definitely worth checking out.

The Animal Burger is really good. Definitely one of the better burgers around and worth trying if in the area. All the food we had was yummy and the server was great, she was very attentive and friendly.

Amazing burger! And the place is really cool. Love going there on my Fridays off for lunch. Highly highly recommend it!Further comments: The Gull continues to impress us at every visit. Phil makes the most amazing Old Fashioned" and the service is wonderful

Wasn’t impressed. I called to book a table but was told they couldn’t reserve a table but we could walk-in. And when we did, we were told it was a 15 minute wait for a table or choose to sit at the bar, even though there were multiple empty tables in the entire hour we were there. Strange. Food was average. The only vegan dish was grains and thangs and was average.( I believe it is also gluten-free) . Fries were not spicy, and they’re underwhelming as fries go but is a sizable quantity. Herb aioli is not vegan.Street parking is difficult to find but there is a public pay parking nearby.

Amazing service, very friendly staff. The food is delicious. I selfishly would prefer if this place stayed a hidden gem so I can get a table easily but this business deserves to get all the success it can get. 100% recommend. Best burgers in all metro vancouver in my opinion.

FINALLY…20Ounce pints at a fair price. $2 less during happy hours 3-5.All the drinks, good selection of wines and spirits.Attentive staff and great food portions.It would be nice to see a few more vegan options.

Cozy interior, local beers, friendly service and most importantly... Delicious food! The burgers are ground inhouse, so the beef paddy isn't scorched to death. Comes to you a little pink and mouth watering juicy! Highly recommended stop. One thing to note, they also do some seriously good cocktails, the bartender knows what they are doing.

great place for friends, date night, trivia night. good quality food. one of the best burgers in van. for dessert try their birdie bar… unreal. and the pork belly nugz and savoury fatty and divine.

A great spot and definitely one that we recommend to friends and family when they visit. We've been here a few times and I only remembered to take photos once before eating. We love their Pork Belly Nugz, Steak & Potatoes, The Gull Style Burger, and if you are considering dessert, definitely try their Birdie Bar! It's SO Good.
