We had a wonderful, memorable dinner at this place. My husband and I couldnt stop talking about how every single dish tastes amazing. We ordered a Wood Fire Experience course for two! Great atmosphere, great staff, great food - I would give more stars if i can!

Brilliant place in an old industrial area of Montreal. They use the remnants of the history of the industry in the decor of the building with brilliant effect. When you walk in you are kissed with the beautiful smell of smoked meat and the food and service was wonderful!!

We've come here once or twice a year since shortly after their opening. We've always had great experiences!Last night was a highlight among our many visits. It's not easy to maintain consistent quality over the years, with a pandemic thrown in the mix no less. But this restaurant has done an incredible job.We brought four guests from the States and the UK who were passing through for a night. We wanted to have a guaranteed great meal with lovely service that showcased the best of Quebec ingredients. Hoogan et Beaufort really delivered!My partner and I loved our meals, as we always have. The best part was seeing the look on our guests' faces when the plates were presented -- they were impressed beyond words at the gorgeous plating. And the taste and creativity in ingredient selection and preparation were top-notch as well!The service was kind and charming. Extremely professional while still friendly and warm. Our server answered our guests' questions and seemed to enjoy discussing options with them.The atmosphere was lively without being over-the-top. Tables are reasonably spaced.I just want to emphasize how the staff -- both in the kitchen and front-of-house -- made a really lovely evening possible for us, from beginning to end, both with food and service.We'll be back! (In case you couldn't tell)

Everything was amazing, service was spot on, and the exec chef was there making sure every dish came out perfect. The Prime Rib is a must try. the fat melts in your mouth and its cooked perfectly. the duck was also amazing, perfectly cooked and tender. Highly recommend

We really loved our tasting menu here and were delighted with pretty much all aspects of the experience from the decor to the service and obviously the food and wine. This was not the most bombastic or loud meal we had in Montreal, but we thought it was the mostly intentionally and carefully coursed and had the most consistent high quality. Everything was beautifully composed, interesting and delicious to eat and the progression and overall meal just came together perfectly.

I did the tasting as a vegetarian and had a truly fabulous experience. (There is no set veg menu- they made one for me. Top notch) David the general manager/sommelier matched the vegetarian dishes with the wine despite the pairings normally going with the meat dishes. I have gone to several tasting menus across the world. Not once has the wine pairing changed to accommodate a vegetarian substitution. The service, food, and wine pairings were brilliant, delicious, and rare high quality service. The food was divine. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

Had the best dinner of our lives!! Their fire master really knew what they were doing. The dishes we had were amazingly done- well used of fire. The combination of ingredients and flavors were really awesome and complex. We enjoyed every single dish! We’d recommend you order the duck if they have it!

Always a pleasure to come discover what's new on their menu. It's on the pricier side but you're paying for gastronomy and art. Everything is tastefully plated and so savory. Definitely one of my favorite spots of Montreal to celebrate a special occasion.
