First Choice Haircutters

I had the best experience with a very friendly staff that was more than willing to take me as a walk-in. Most hair cutting places are taking appointments only , which I understand , but my schedule is not always predictable. I was extremely happy when they said sure , come on in we'll cut your hair. This was not the case at the First Choice at the Banwell road location. I visited them twice , as a walk-in and both times they said they couldn't cut my hair because they were fully booked for the whole day. Both times were early to mid afternoon. Both times I was the only person in the waiting area , with nobody walking in for the 3 or 4 minutes when I was there. The second time was the real breaker because they had 6 employees and only 2 of them were cutting hair , eventually a third started to cut hair. Once again they were quote , unquote , booked solid for the rest of the day. That's fine because I have found a new location which will be my new home for haircuts and I will never be going back to the Banwell location . They get negative 5 stars.

Shami has been cutting my hair for the past six months and I'm very satisfied. She pays great attention to details and does certain tricks of the trade I've not received before. I'm very very happy with her and I won't be going anywhere else.

I strongly do not recommend it. This is the worst hair salon I have ever been to. If a 5-year-old had cut my hair, it would definitely be better. Everyone who sees my hair tells me that your hair cut is not good. The first time I was not satisfied with Alisa, the second time I went to another haircut artist to do my hair, it was even worse than the first. If your beauty matters to you, please don’t go to this place.

Shami takes great care to give you the cut you want. Its obvious she knows what she is doing and is very experienced. Very impressed.

This is a great place for a haircut for kids and adults who want a low price for a good haircut. My wife always insists on Katrina who is extremely competent, happy to please and extremely friendly with kids. Cut is good for 7 days in case you change your mind and don't want that Mohawk after all.

Shami did a great job touching up my Cruella Deville " hair colour! She was very precise and did a fantastic job! The haircut she gave me is also perfect

I always enjoy coming in for my monthly appointment for a cut and some laughs. Philly makes a haircut a full experience! I don't think I've ever really enjoyed getting a haircut until I started going here.

Its Saturday .morning....they have 1 girlworking.... now its 3 weeks later and they are more interested in talking then cutting hair and getting to waiting customers

TBH, great scissors but way too short, the photos I showed and what I have were so different. I understood we were going longer and could go shorten, however the scissors didn't stop. Loved her and as I said, amazing scissoring, however this is about 2 inches shorter than I had wanted. Thankful #itgrowsback

This was the worst haircut that I had in my life.They treat you well, but does not know how to do a hair cut. I have been to several first choice's.I still had to go to another shop to get my hair cut done cleanly.I will never go to this place.
