I dont know if they changed owner or maybe the staff is all new but I went today, right as they were opening. I didnt even have to ask for help to deposit a cheque someone came right to me to offer help. She was super helpful and I didn't feel like I was bothering her. Great experience!

This is the worst branch of NBC and the worst bank branch I've ever dealt with. I was given incorrect information on my account and when I went back to ask for explanation, they did nothing to rectify it. Service is so slow even when there's more staff then customers. I am definitely looking to close all my accounts there.

The service is so bad, I'd close my account if I wasn't forced to deal with BNC by the real estate promoter I'm dealing with for my condo. The staff are slow and incompetent, there's no way to get accurate info from them and they don't do consistent follow-ups.

The service here is the worst I've ever had. The woman at the front desk gives people dirty looks, especially if you're cashing government cheques. She refuses to answer questions, and she gives attitude for no reason.I had asked her to give me 100 dollar bills, and she said she'd see if there was any" she refused to speak to me in English

Worst service ever. They talk to you like you are a baby. A lot of movement in their staff and they do not disconnect the voicemail- which you never have an answer from and not aware the person is gone. No automatic reply on email as well.New person that was assign to me did not know ALL basic financials, could not tell me any information and when she did, it was 100% wrong. She referred me to her boss, and the same thing happened. I had to have a 3rd person to tell me the right info. Very time consuming and very bad service.Both even raised their voices at me many times when I asked and referred on the call which info was the right one on the email thread since it was all contradictory. They were yelling how busy they were and couldn’t retrieve the email (?). Felt like teenagers were working and very overwhelmed with basic questions and request.Overall very bad service. Will give you very bad interest rate- I had to reach out to an old contact I had at the bank and gave me a much better rate and information- you can tell they really do not care about their customers.

After reading some of negative reviews, I am wondering if they are regarding the branch located next to the Valois square? Marie at the reception, or front desk, was the reason I came back to this branch today to open an account for professionals. She had helped me a couple of months ago when I closed my line of credit with National bank and her service was extremely efficient and she’s fluent in English.Today, yes there was a bit of wait because there was many people in line. Marie is a great addition to tellers - she asks people in line how she can help and she does help.I am spoiled with financial services in my other servicing bank, but I have a mortgage with NatBank and this bank offers the best package for professionals (business administration in my case). Marie started the process and she referred me to Sara, she’s a new financial services manager, and had I hadn’t been told she’s new, I would have never guessed it. She opened an account and helped me with the World Elite credit card application. Again, maybe I got lucky twice but for banking world it’s already a good pattern. Kudos to Marie and Sara for my excellent customer journey today. SV.
