Not a huge selection of books but the prices are great (usually $1 or $2) and the selection varies widely from week to week. Fantastic place for cards however and little knickknacks that you don't realize you need until you see them on the shelf. Staff is also very friendly.

There were a lot of interesting products here aside from great books. I also found adorable stationery and cute notebooks. You can even choose from nice shirts available at this store. You won't find it hard finding great books because each rack has so many intriguing books.

My favourite place to get greeting cards. The staff are so friendly (and they’re volunteers!). Proceeds go to the library.

Good selection of items. Staff was rude though. Did not acknowledge me when I smiled at them when walking in. Was being nice to these two ladies by asking how their day was. They gave one word answers and no eye contact whatsoever, and just continued talking amongst themselves.This was the second time already experiencing this already.

Each time I step out of this store, I feel lighter and less worried. This quaint store has a charming array of stationeries, books, bags made of recycled and bits and bobs. The people there are awfully nice and reassured me once when I had dropped a pretty flask on the floor. I remember lingering to chat with them about robins! I wish there were more books , although getting books that are as good as new, for a measly $2 is reason enough for multiple visits.

Great gifts and stationary. Very friendly staff. Found presents for both of my parents for Christmas and my friend's kid. Plus, the store raises funds for Friends of the VPL which directly funds library different library projects.
