Novo Furniture

I found myself at Novo Furniture after a friend of mine told me about her experience, she was not wrong! David is a pro, never pushy and extremely patient and helpful (also, great sense of humor). His suggestions from his experience were bang on when it came to helping me pick my fabric and size of my sofa while also letting me know that I always had options. From the first time I went into the showroom it was a fantastic experience (yes even the delivery was seamless and on time!) Would highly recommend Novo Furniture for anyone looking to find the perfect piece for their home!

We bought our Helsinki Condo Sofa in August 2021 and was planning to leave a review after a year, to speak great things about the quality. Unfortunately, we lost our home to a fire last month. I told my husband that we could skip all the other furniture and appliances but NOT this couch, since this brought me so much comfort everytime I would arrive home from work.Long story short, we re-ordered exactly the same style and David was very considerate of our situation and very kind to give us a good deal.Thank you so much David! The 5-star reviews are completely deserved and I would like to add another! David's customer service is outstanding and he clearly cares about customer satisfaction. He is very easy to talk to, responsive, and stuck with us to find a satisfying solution when the manufacturer made a small error on our order. I would 100% come back here again.

Novo Furniture is the best sofa-buying experience I’ve ever had. The owner David is not only an all-around great guy, he makes purchasing a sofa so easy and even fun. He’s been very helpful with finding us the perfect sofa and customizing it to suit us (fabric selection, cushion firmness, slouchy-ness factor etc). and has been so accommodating when I’ve requested changes after the fact, such as switching out standard wooden legs for some fabulous gold metal legs, or replacing a seat cushion with a firmer one to help my partner’s bad back. David is my “sofa guy” for life, and I will never buy a sofa from anywhere else!

We recently purchased the Apollo Sectional, and are absolutely over the moon with the quality. Dave provided amazing service, yet there was zero pressure. We had brought our youngest with us on a rainy day, and Dave graciously opened a treasure full of toys to keep her occupied, while we perused the furniture. I was looking for something that could better support my back. Dave recommended finding a couch with medium firmness and 4 inch legs. Lo and behold, my back is loving this sectional! The item was delivered 1-2 weeks ahead of schedule, which was a great gift right before Xmas. Truly happy that we went with Novo Furniture! Cheers.

Novo Furniture is one of Vancouver's hidden gems. It's worth a visit just to meet David, the owner, and have lots of laughs (and learn lots about furniture). He is such a delight--knowledgable, warmhearted, completely consumed with making the customer happy, and he has an absolutely no pressure sales style. I tried to 'cheap out' on couches for the past decade...first Ikea then Leon's and finally Cozey. Each sofa lasted less than 3 years. So, my $1200 investment each time didn't get me very far. And it's a terrible choice for the environment! I'm so happy that I found Novo--yes, it's a bit more expensive but it's still a terrific deal compared to other local manufacturers. For a $2600 investment (and free delivery!), I'm getting a couch that is custom designed for my height, my back issues, my need to have room for a cat and a dog to snuggle up with, and I will always have the option to alter anything that isn't quite right once I've had a chance to live with my new sofa. And Novo gives a 10 yearwarranty on the sofa. The only downside is the wait but I'm happy to wait 8 weeks to finally get a comfy, well-built couch that will last me for for years to come.

Outstanding. We bought a couch from David, and from the first time we entered the store, until now, we are completely blown away by the professionalism, honesty, and support he has given us in our purchase. I would even say that I have never had a customer service experience as good as this, ever. That is how highly we think of David and his shop. Highly recommended, will be returning to Novo for any future furniture needs we have.

I purchased a sofa from David at Novo. It looks great and is perfect for my space, however, after receiving it I discovered a defect. I reported the issue to David and was blown away by his exemplary customer service. He listened to my concerns and explained clearly the processes we would take to identify and resolve the issue. After it became clear that the sofa may need a repair, he communicated with the manufacturer and assisted with the claims process. I am now happy to say that the sofa has been returned in great shape. Following the other reviews, I feel like a broken record but cannot say enough how impressed I was with his customer service. He was knowledgeable, patient and genuinely concerned with customer satisfaction. Next time I am in the market for a sofa, Novo will be my first stop!

I echo the positive experience that everyone talks about in their reviews. David is a great listener and seems to be able to pair clients up with the perfect pieces for THEM. He is so familiar with the products he carries and has access to other lines as well. David is super observant too, and made several suggestions that made total sense, but were details I would not have otherwise thought of. He is not at ALL pushy, just helpful. I'd been struggling for months to come up with a combination I was happy with, and after a couple of hours, and a few texts back and forth, I was able to order what I felt were the perfect pieces for our home.I will happily recommend Novo Furniture to all my friends and family. From the advice and exemplary service to the wide range of options to the extremely fair pricing, David and his store Novo cannot be beat!
