I have used TD for 30 years. Security and verification connected to your cell phone now make this bank unbearable. Nobody in branch has a clue on much. I am done with TD.

This is one of the worse locations. I should've read the reviews before going to this branch. The manager and the agent, Jaskirat Bedi, closed my application without authorization. The application is always open for 30 days, and then it expires. But at this location, they don't seem to care about customers. They do whatever they want. They will tell you that your application did not get approved when your application is pending, and they still need to submit it. Because of this branch, I am leaving TD after 23 years.

My daughter has been trying for 8 months, since his death, to have the funds released from her friend's chequing account........she is the executrix, has given the branch his Death Certificate and the Will and still they won't release the funds, even though it is a relatively small account and probate is not required by the province. What can she do? The stress this bank has caused my daughter and me is immense.

I had the worst experience at the Cloverdale location Branch 9028 with their “manager of customer experience”. We were depositing a bank draft and needed the funds within 3 days for a downpayment for a new home purchase. They told us that their new “system” update that they implemented on November 1, 2021 required all bank drafts over $50,000 to be held for 5 days minimum. No exceptions. We told her we had proof of funds, receipt and balance of where the funds were being pulled from, all our realtor and proof of home purchase paperwork. We asked her to take a look and she said no need to look at it because it won’t make a difference. She didn’t even look at it and showed no empathy. We kindly explained that we are actually doing a mortgage with TD and that we needed the funds available in order for us not to lose the house (we had to pay our deposit in 4 days). She specifically said, banks drafts over $50,000 will require 5 day hold so we asked if we can make portion of the funds available in 4 days and the rest in 5 and she straight up lied to my face and said no. My partner actually worked at TD in the past so we know this is an option. We left and ended up taking the bank draft to a TD down the street and without any question, they make the full amount available with no hold. The teller at the other branch thanked us for bringing all the paperwork and said that made her job easier to release all the funds. There was no “system update” that made the cloverdale branch hold the funds. “Manager of Customer experience” and the branch manager straight up lied to our face and kept blaming their system update" . Because of negligence (manually entered wrong demand draft's number into the computer by td employee) and later unsupported acts of td branch, my 10K demand draft got returned and I am still in shock by discovering such an unprofessional attitude by this td branch. Its not over yet because they are neither giving me my money nor giving back my original demand draft (so that I could e able to deposit in some other bank). Being a new immgrant I was not aware of such a service in Canada. I am in deep stress now and I need to take medical supervision. Can anyone suggest me what to do next?

I went through all the trouble of doing a credit card application here with a guy named vikram, it was approved. They said the credit card is in the mail. I kept calling asking why I hadn't recieved it and they said they would deal with it. Anyways now the file has expired". The representative I spoke to at head office verified it was caused by vikrams negligence

I have been dealing with this branch from last 8 years. Never had any problems before. Went to deposit cheques today and one of their employee said that the are going to put a large amount of cheque on hold because it was above $5000. I told them that I have been working this trucking company for 14 months. It never happened it before. It made me very disappointed. Now I will never ever go this branch.

Extremely careless, incompetent and negligent staff. They mishandled my RRSP contributions…staff and mangers are totally clueless where the cheque is or what they did with it. If you want to loose your money come and see them. Horrendous service, totally unprofessional team.

TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM
I have been waiting almost 60 days for a home equity line of credit, they have lost documents, don't call me back, don't respond to my emails, have made 2 complaints to the branch manager and nothing has been done. This is the worst customer service I have ever had. We currently have 2 mortgages with them and I'm looking to go to another bank now. Absolutely terrible.
