This company has the best Maple Syrup you can buy! Found him first at the farmers market up in Whistler BC,then I traveled to his residence once to pick up 2 - one gallon jugs to take home! Then a few year's went by and I had moved north to Quesnel, BC ,I tracked him down and once again bought more as he has the best product out there and his prices are incredible!

Maples' Sugar Shack
I bought the maple syrup and maple butter. Both were very tasty - the syrup has a delicate, almost floral note which was absolutely delicious. The staff at Granville Island are friendly and very helpful. Will be back during my next visit to Vancouver!

It was kind of hard to find with the amount of shops around it, but it sells very tasty syrup and butter, friendly staff with very good prices.

バンクーバーで唯一のメープル製品専門店。お土産用の小さな瓶は、6本まとめ買いすると10％引きになります。メープルシロップは、カエデの樹液40リットルを1リットルになるまで煮つめたもの。メープルバターはシロップをさらに煮詰めた製品で、トーストに塗ったり、白カビ系のチーズにのせて味わいます。メープルシュガーは顆粒状にしたもの。大さじ1に同量のお湯を加えるとシロップに戻ります。シロップより軽いのでお土産に最適。クッキー生地に混ぜて焼くとメープル風味のクッキーが作れます。色の薄いメープルシロップのほうが味が繊細で高級といわれたりしますが、色の濃淡は質の良し悪しや等級に関係なく、カエデの樹液を採取した時期が早いか遅いかの違いです。ちなみにカナダの純正メープルシロップには、添加物や保存料は含まれていません。メープルシロップは砂糖より甘さ控えめでもっと栄養豊富。料理に旨味や甘さを加えたい時にも使えます。我が家で人気なのは、しょうゆとおろし生姜とメープルシロップで漬け込んで焼いた鶏手羽。美味しいですよ〜☆
