Stitch It Clothing Alterations

I came here for their advertised 1hr stitch. They couldn't do it because they were busy. They only do it whenever they feel like it. Poor business practice and false advertising.

Fantastic tailor shop! I showed up with an emergency repair. They only charged me 15% extra to have it ready in 1 hour. Total repair was $17.They are super friendly and computerized. You give them your phone number and then you immediately receive a text that your order is being worked on. They promised it in 1 hour but I got a text from the computer in half an hour that it was ready. Work was done perfectly. You just don't find tailor shops like this anymore.Located on the first floor of the Richmond center mall indoors near Old Navy

They did a terrible job on my clothing. The old woman who works there barely spoke to me or smiled at all, seemed to not even care about the customer. I don't know if they are lazy to do a proper job or what, but barely anything was done and they charged me over $40. When I told them it was not right they said they would charge me again to fix it.I recommend going to Walter the Tailor. He is a friendly gentleman who actually took time with me. He is not lazy and will put in the required work.

Expensive and alterations weren't very good. Hemming came undone within 2 days and poor quality.

The quality they have done was so bad. Hemming was so poorly done. And their debit/credit card machine is not working more than 2 weeks. Of course only taking cash! And after payment, they said they are not issuing payment receipt. ( of course they could)Workers are so rude. Don't know what's problem with this store.

This review is about my last visit only on October 15 at the Mayfair location. I have used Stitch It in the past for pants hemming and jacket sleeves alteration and they always did a good job, decent price and in the timeline given. But this time around, I brought in a hoody that had a rip on the side of the front pocket. I love this hoody and thought it was worth getting it fixed. I can appreciate that this fix was tricky with the size and location of the rip (right at the front) and that the alteration may show (I even mentioned when I dropped off my item I was ok if they were not able to fully conceal that alteration), but I was NOT expecting it to show even more after repair. They sure took care of the issue, but it's hard to believe that aesthetically, that's the best they could do??? Very disappointed this time around. I gave 3 stars keeping in mind past positive experiences and the quick service, but would have given a one star review only for this specific visit and the quality of the work unfortunately.

*EDIT* After speaking with Yasmin, we were able to come to an agreement and fix the issue at hand. The jerseys fit much better now and I am much more content with them than I previously was. *END EDIT*Took 4 hockey jerseys in to get the sleeves hemmed and to also add a small piece of fabric near the collar.I explained thoroughly, multiple times what I’d like to see be done. They charged me $95 (after discount apparently) and told me it’d be ready in a week.Fast forward 2 weeks and I still hadn't heard from them, so I give them a call and they tell me it’s ready. I go in, pick them up snd look at them. They look pretty bad, but it’s a different lady working there than the one I had do the actual stitching, so I cant really complain to her about it.I get home, try it on and it looks even worse. No where near what I wanted. I tried contacting customer support because they claim to have a “30 day satisfaction guarantee” but that is simply not true. Not only were the support staff not helpful in the slightest, no one offered me ANY solutions or any sort of reimbursement.Very disappointed. They clearly don't care about making a life-long customer out of me, which very easily could have been the case if they handled this situation appropriately. $95 for the work I had done was nothing short of a rip off.

One of the old lady there is really rude. She said they were busy but she’s just on her phone in the back and gave me alot of attitude. Company should fire her, sorry not sorry.

Came in to get a pair of pants hemmed and they were very rude and condescending while I was in-store. I received my pants and wore them once for about 5 hours before realizing the seam was completely undone. I called to inquire about getting it fixed. The woman was very rude over the phone and told me I would need to pay again to have it repaired. Don’t come here if you intend to actually wear the clothes they “fix.”

I had a very positive experience at Stich it clothing. I have been looking for a professional seamstress for quite a while and decided to give this place a try.The lady who took my measurements was very nice and attentive to my needs. It took a week until my jean jacket was ready for pickup. I was informed of the estimated timeframe during my initial visit.I absolutely love the result! I can now wear my jean jacket with pride!!! I would definitely recommend this place.Thank you Stich It Clothing!
