Walton Harbour Lighthouse
One of the few lighthouses I know of that lets you go all the way up to the top of it. Restrooms are very clean and a cute little gift shop and upcoming musuem. Knowledgeable and friendly people work there including Tom who shared a lot of knowledge about the area with us. We will be back!

Walton Harbour Lighthouse
Lovely spot. We stayed down the street and went to the lighthouse often. We saw it at low and high tide. The volunteers are amazing. Lots of knowledge and enthusium! You can go into the lighthouse, a small museum, a gift shop, washrooms, sit on a bench or picnic table. Soak in the VIEWS!

Walton Harbour Lighthouse
Got up the first set of steps but chickened out when I looked at the 2nd set lol. Met a volunteer and his grandson who were going to remove some fallen trees from the walking trails and they were delightful. Everyone I have met on my trip in Nova Scotia have been so nice and friendly.

Walton Harbour Lighthouse
This little park looks like it is operated by locals, but it is very well done. I was surprised to see the working clockwork machinery to turn the light. You can climb into the top of the lighthouse to get. beautiful view out over the area, and there is a nice easy trail to another look-off. There is also a nice little gift shop on the location. Certainly worth a stop if you are in the area.

Walton Harbour Lighthouse
During the off season, the grounds are closed and the gate prevents you from parking. However, park the car at the gravel driveway and walk a short distance. Nothing is open but you can still see the light house and the views.

Beautiful example of a pepper pot lighthouse! The grounds and buildings are so well maintained. Such a great area!

Nice display and great scenery. There's also a lookoff trail and gift shop which isn't always open.

Small place with great view of the bay. The lighthouse is in excellent condition. Near the lighthouse there is a path for a walk in a small forest. Also, a small museum and a shop with friendly staff.

Nice little cute lighthouse - free to enter and magnificent ocean view. Beautiful and tranquil.
