In our quest to find a place to fill the void left behind by the Milliken Restaurant’s closing, we found this place. It comes pretty darn close.Good food, great portions, friendly staff, and very reasonable prices. They have a wide menu of items and I’m definitely going to try their prime rib dinner one of these nights. 100% will be back.

Got the Canadian Omelette, serving is big and good for 2. Comes with toast and 1pc pancake. Omelette is good and bacon pcs are big. Pancake is not as fluffy but it tastes good. Lots of choices on menu and they look good.Refillable coffee could be better. Server is super friendly.

Venerable triple D in Unionville! Run by two gentlemen, very simple diner but was quite surprised by the food and the approachable prices. Kids got usual breakfast of eggs, bacon, and pancakes (shaped like bunnies). I got the hot hamburger sandwich. I thought it would be a frozen hamburger on bread with gravy and generic potatoes and maybe canned peas but what came out seemed to be a made to order plate of a fresh hand made patty, fresh mixed veg with asparagus and brussel sprouts and creamy mash. I couldn't finish as i was stuffed and so were the kids. It was a very fun discovery. Front parking space is a bit tight and limited so be prepared to do lots of point turns. If you live in the area, consider walking or biking. Owner said prime rib dinners he only makes a limited number of servings and it gets sold out. Kids already wanting to try out their burgers, grilled cheese and fries. We will be back!

We got the 16 oz prime rib and chicken pot pie. The prime rib was huge, very tender and tasty. This is a little hidden gem. Prices are great too!

Huge portion sizes at an amazing price. Restaurants near this place have similar options for food however they cost way more for worse tasting smaller portions. Would highly recommend making the trip and having breakfast or lunch at this establishment.

Hidden gem of Markham. An old school diner serving amazing tasty food with a ridiculously low price tag. Daily specials are only 10$ with some being a bit more, but the value is top notch. Roasted chicken special can feed at least 2 people for only 16$!!!

Oh my word! Huge portions. I ordered the Canadian omelette which also comes with a pancake. The omelette is 5 eggs and loaded with peameal bacon and mushrooms. I thought it would be a small pancake, but no. The bacon may have been ham as it was huge chunks. Lady at next table to me had the fried chicken and waffles. We had to laugh at how much food there was.The owner/cook is very happy to talk to all his customers which is either a very nice touch, or you might find it annoying as you are trying to eat. But it's with very good intentions. He had a young server working with him who was keen and pleasant but I only asked for a glass of water 4 or 5 times. Also when I left only 1 table didn't have dirty plates on it and the place was empty. I hope they didn't get a rush of customers. Do I recommend? Yes, worth a try to support a small business.

Had brunch here twice. Surprised by the delicious food & large portions. Small place but warm. There is also parking at the back of the building.

Food is absolutely fantastic. Better than some of the other places I've been to for breakfast. Large portions, we had plenty of extra to take home. Do not sit under the TV, because everybody looks at the TV and it then feels as though everybody is watching you as you enjoy your mexican omelette. This lowers your enjoyment of the mexican omelette. If you come here, I suggest bringing cash. This way you can just leave cash on the table and leave. We waited for the bill for a very long time.
