DO NOT HIRE FROM HERE. I waited 5 hours in their office- shed - for a car yesterday. They have no cars at the moment and you have to wait for someone to return one before you can get one - so if someone returns it elsewhere, or is late, there's nothing you can do but wait.

Absolutely horrible experience!! Dont rent with Alamo never in your life. The manager is unable to understand client problems and to solve our car issue or try to find a proper solution.Our car (that yes we rent in alamo Edimburgh, but still alamo right!!) does not have the air, it was impossible for 4 people to breath there, and the answer was open the Windows!! Really?!?!

We collected our car from Alamo and were pleased with the collection from the airport. We were assured the car had been fully checked but there was only 1/8 a tank of petrol...not ideal as I had booked with a full tank. We went on our way and less than 5 minutes up the road the tyre sensor came on - we'd been assured this was checked. We arrived in Elgin and the oil light came on - again we were told this had been checked! We phoned and were told to pop to Elgin branch and they would check....they did....and we were told its a vauxhall

We went to Inverness to visit the city and to do a road trip through Scotland. We rented a car at Alamo invernes airport and the staff, service and processed was fantastic. Do the reservations online was very easy and straightforward. I loved the fast Check-In process that you offer on your website. It just took us max 2 minutes to get the car.For my next trip, I will definitely book a car at Alamo.

No exaggeration, one of the best & most hospitable rental experiences we've had. Paul our agent picked us up by the airport after we called, the car was warmed up & waiting for us upon arrival at the Alamo office [off-premises] and he explained everything we needed to know about the rental -- including his recommendation for the right level of insurance for the trip we planned to take. Well done!

We had a great deal for a nice Ford Fiesta. The car was clean and almost brand new. Very friendly staff. The driver for the shuttle is very friendly and he even gave us tips for our trip to the North Coast 500 ! 100% recommend Alamo !

Extremely pleased with our service here. We are from the States and a bit nervous about driving here in Scotland, BUT David explained so much to us and was so friendly and helpful.
