I've always liked the pizza and wings at El Centro, but the other day I tried the Shawarma wrap and was absolutely blown away. Has to be the best Shawarma I've ever had. The garlic sauce is without a doubt the best in Halifax.

They are handy and they make good food, why go to town? The menu has a lot of options. The donair egg rolls are the best I've ever had. The pizza is always delicious and full of toppings. Fish and chips on point. Shawarma on point. Just do it!They lost a star for not answering the phone on busy night...I know it was busy... but that was annoying.

A few weeks back we ordered a pizza and (most likely from sliding around during delivery) it was beyond unacceptable. Contacted El Centro and the owners were more than happy to make it right. Ordered from them again this evening and everything was to expectations and beyond. Very happy with the selection of pizza and other foods. Will definitely return and recommend to anyone who’s never tried before.

Heard nothing but good things about El Centro and they are very close to us so we figured we might as well give them a go. Ordered 2 donairs for delivery. We live a 3 min drive down the road and delivery was 1.5 hours, but I totally understand it could have been a busy night. Donair meat was 90% burnt and crispy, donairs were cold as heck, not even a hint of warmth. Didn't enjoy at all.We may have just caught them on a bad night is all. Might try them again some time in the future but for now we're just going to go with our usual place instead.

I am so sorry this place is so bad since its new and so close. Burnt pizza, dried out fish sigh! Maybe just a bad cook or bad night? 530 on Monday, food arrives 650...So bad I am angry! EDIT Owner offered refund and free re-order so that's impressive plus their on-line system is the best.

Disappointed. Wings were good.Pizza was inconsistent. Extra charge for delivery that no one let's you know about.Beware. Eastern Passage pays 6 dollars more. Didn't expect to pay 56 dollars for 30 wings.
