Castle Downs Park
A very large park that gets very busy in the summer. There is a spray park, playground, and skate park here. There is a bathroom that is open in the summer but closed all winter. There is also a small toboggan hill. Numerous soccer fields and baseball diamonds are here as well. On the east side of the park is the Castle Downs YMCA, some indoor ice rinks, and a large outdoor ice rink.

Got there at 2pm. Found parking directly in front of park. Immediately found a spot in the shade. Lots of play stations for kids of all ages. Sand station, spray park, lots and lots of different climbing stations, swings, dizzy seats, skate park and plenty of grass for the parents to lounge around. I LOVE that this place has actual bathrooms!!!! We had a great time and will definitely be back!

Castle Downs Park
Close to my home and I do walking and jogging around the castle down park sometimes I watch soccer or baseball games in the area it has picnic area , a playground for kids , skateboarding ,basketball court and restroom. Has parking space for free besides the playground.

Great place to bring the family. There were a number of school children celebrating the last days of school so it was a little crowded and quite a bit of litter laying around. I'm sure that will be cleaned up soon. Lots of park area and picnic tables.

I like this park and my family love it! But skating area should be more safer and better to be some rules there!

Castle Downs Park
This park is awesome. The spraypad/dry park combo with the sand pit too. My kids could play here every day, all day and never get tired. Really busy though, especially on hit days. Not a ton of benches, but lots of grassy areas so bring a big towel or blanket to sit and watch the kids play.

Best park in North side ... Probably it's the best in Edmonton .. for all age groups including spray park and skating rink n all... There is a nice pic of area too if planning for an outdoor dinning..

Had so much fun at the park, took my pre schoolers. Enjoyed the spray park and regular park. There was sand in some places. Bathrooms were open but needed maintenance 1/2 days I was there. Kinda smelled but that’s expected. Clean and had toilet paper.

This is a fantastic park for all ages. It has tons of variety and a great spray park in the summer. The only unfortunate thing is that the interactive pieces didn't survive the first winter.
