Thorncliffe Place

I love the feeling thorncliffe gives me when I walk in the front door. Actually, when I arrive and see the landscaping it gives me goosebumps. The staff are so caring and the food is amazing. I recommend Thorncliffe to all my family and friends and you should too.

Thorncliffe is truly a special home. You can tell it is family owned and not one of those big chains where they have big turnover. I love the landscaping and the home like atmosphere and the food is amazing. I read that they have the best public health record of any home in ottawa for many years which genuinely impressed me.

I loved working here and your loved ones wont get bored as they have plan activities all the time and I highly recommend it.

My Grandpa moved to Thorncliffe when he was no longer able to stay home. The staff at the home is friendly, compassionate and truly cares about the residents. We loved visiting him, it really felt like he was home.

My auntie lived at Thorncliffe for many years: she always loved it there and told me that the food was her favourite part. I really enjoyed coming to see her because the staff were so warm and welcoming. My Auntie would always tell me how the staff treated her like family and genuinely cared about her comfort and happiness. I felt completely at ease knowing she was well taken care of at all times. It was obvious that the home was a family business and not one of those large chains where the management and staff were always changing.I was most impressed by their public health record which was second to none in the city and read the CBC article that was written about them. I would recommend Thorncliffe to anyone! I’ve done it many times and will continue to recommend them to all my friends and family.

Thorncliff Place is an excellent retirement home. The staff are very friendly and professional. Their love and concern for the residents is evident, creating a peaceful and happy place. The food is delicious! I highly recommend Thorncliff Place as a warm and safe home for retirees.
